Wove is proud to sponsor Professional Triathlon News not only for what they provide to the triathlon community, but as a partner that sees the true value in Wove saddles: a saddle made so that somebody can truly enjoy riding their bike again.
Wove's saddles are designed to keep riders comfortable in any position at any speed because the biggest variable in bike comfort is unquestionably the saddle.
When designing the V8 saddle, special attention was paid to relieving soft tissue pressure, supporting the pelvic bones, and preventing thigh rubbing because these were the three major complaints riders shared over decades of bike fits.
Take advantage of Wove's 30 day no-questions-asked return policy to see the difference for yourself and take a full month to spend time testing and dialing in your position on the saddle. Wove's team is always happy to help troubleshoot saddle setup and rider position with their customers, and if it just doesn't work the saddle can be sent back for a full refund!

The Games are here!
Last week athlete and Wove rider found some time during her pre-games training to chat with us ahead of the games, and shared what makes the Commonwealth Games so special to her.
Good luck at Commies, Jess, we can't wait to cheer you on!
This past Spring came to us because she wanted to have every advantage possible for her upcoming season and she was finding that her position on the bike was a disadvantage. Not only was she interested in testing our M8 saddle, but Vittoria also wanted to work with us on her fit.
Vittoria was having trouble sustaining an aero position, especially in groups and when cornering, and simply could not effectively sprint from the drops without excessive wrist-to-bar contact. Her position on the bike was simply costing precious time in races.
We worked with Vittoria to add stack height and increase her reach with a longer stem, and changed her handlebars over to some that have 35mm tops and flare to a 40cm width in the drops. This higher-and-longer position helps Vittoria sustain a good aero-hoods position that closes the gap between her hands and face to improve aerodynamics, while maintaining confident control in groups and corners. The slightly flared bars paired with the higher handlebar position also allow Vittoria to stand and sprint from the drops without hard contact, so she can be ready when it's time to push the pace!
Pairing this position with our M8 saddle meant Vittoria could anteriorly rotate her hips and focus on putting out power without discomfort, and the grippy nose of the M8 and memory-foam style padding that cradles the rider means she does not have to work to hold her position with her quads and knees, but can focus on putting power to the pedals.
Best of luck in Hamburg, Vittoria!
If you don't already know Lauren Stephens, get to know her: Lauren Stephens is a powerhouse in any discipline, and has been spearheading the all-women's Aegis X Leaders of Enchantment team into quickly becoming one of the most formidable teams in the country. We won't even try to get into her extensive list of titles, but you might know her by her denim vest.
We caught up with Lauren just before Unbound for a little Q&A, so head to YouTube and watch Ride Thoughts: Meet Lauren Stephens to learn a little bit about Lauren's history, goals, and training before she steamrolls into SBTGRVL this weekend 💪

Sport is hard. Pregnancy is harder.
After an enlightening conversation with Ruth Edwards about pregnancy in sport, and the lack of knowledge and realistic representation at the pro level, we wanted to learn more and hear Ruth's thoughts.
We invited Ruth and Holly Lawrence to Wove's Boulder HQ for a deep conversation where they dive into what it is truly like to be pregnant as an athlete at the highest level, the different and shared experiences they have had, and what it really means to come back into sport after pregnancy.
Head over to YouTube to get the whole conversation!

Metal railed saddles are live on our website! 🤘
Our metal railed versions will use the exact same shell and padding as our real-world proven full carbon models, with solid steel rails being the only change. This means that these saddles will provide all the same performance and comfort benefits that Wove saddles are known for, while being less expensive and even stronger!
All of these benefits, and still at a respectable weight: The Mags Metal weighs in at ~235g, making it lighter, stronger, and more affordable than the Power Pro with Mirror.
