Thank you for everything, Coach Libby ❤
The BU 130s have been so lucky to have you in their corner for the past five years! We're sad to see you go but glad we get to see you (and Eloise) across the river as the new head coach of the Radcliffe Lights!!!

Last but certainly not least, Ela Ersan!
Ela graduated from BU Questrom School of Business. She majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. 📊
She is currently spending the summer training and rowing while staying with fellow BU lightweight rowing alum Zoey Goodness ‘25. She will start work full-time in September.
Her favorite memories are definitely the trips to Clemson! So much time with teammates, eating, sleeping, and rowing!
Her advice for newcomers is “Pour your heart into this team. Embrace every moment, work hard, and never forget to have fun. It’s that simple. Love y’all 💕😋”
We will miss you so much Ela but can’t wait to see you crush it in the real world ♥️🤍🐾

Our next spotlight is Kylie Lough!
Kylie goes to the College of Arts & Sciences with a major in Biology and a specialization in Cell bio, Moleculr bio, and genetics.
Kylie also has a minor in biomedical engineering.
She recently completed her 4th year on the team, and is currently working as a radiology assistant at the MSPCA Angell animal hospital while she begins applying to vet schools and prepares for her last year at BU.
Her favorite memory is going to women’s Henley in England with the team. It was a once in a lifetime experience to both race there and to travel there with her best friends (and also just every moment at Charlie Duan’s house).
Her advice to newcomers is “Maintain balance in your life! Rowing can take up a lot of space in your schedules and your mind, but take advantage of BU and the city outside of rowing when you can.”
We will miss you so much at the boathouse Kylie but are excited to still see you around campus for one more year! ♥️🤍🐾

Our next senior spotlight is Nora Hemsley!
Nora graduated from the College of Arts and science with major in political science and minor in public policy analysis. 📚
Currently, she is exploring future job opportunities while working at a financial firm in Maryland.
Her favorite recurring memory is Head of the Charles every year, but especially her junior year when they were the fastest lightweight collegiate 8. She also loves the first practice of every year because you get to reunite with your teammates, meet the freshman, set goals for the year and row on the best river again.
Her advice to newcomers is “Have fun! Rowing can be difficult, and making the hard work fun makes a difference. Lean on your teammates and take advantage of every opportunity (in rowing and in college) you can. It flies by!”
We are going to miss you so much Nora! Don’t be a stranger! ♥️🤍🐾

Next up, Zoe Meurer!
Zoe graduated from the Questrom School of Business with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management & Organization.
She’s excited to begin the next chapter of her life while pursuing opportunities in business and continuing her rowing career through coastal rowing! 🚣♀️
Her favorite memory on the team was her first time sweeping. As a freshman, she was put in a pair with an upperclassman, which was both exciting and intimidating. It was a moment that pushed her out of her comfort zone and helped her grow as a rower. She’ll always remember the trust, guidance, and confidence that experience gave her, and it set the tone for the relationships and lessons she would gain throughout her time on the team.
Her message to newcomers is “Always keep pushing for more because it’s in you. There will be times when you hit a wall, but instead of stopping there, find another way to break through it or get over it. Being on this team will push your limits and teach you how to overcome challenges, making you not only a better rower but a better teammate as well. Trust the process, embrace the hard work, and enjoy every moment - it goes by faster than you think.”
We will miss you so much Zoe!! ♥️🤍🐾

Carly was one of our senior captains on the team, and she graduated from the School of Hospitality with a Bachelors of Science in…you guessed it…Hospitality!
Right now, Carly has been taking some time to road trip down the California coast 🚗 and is also job hunting while sight seeing!
Her favorite memory on the team was rowing at Women’s Henley, traveling there with everyone, and getting to spend extra time with the team that summer.
Her advice for newcomers is “This team is the greatest of all time so enjoy every moment you have on it. Do everything you can to achieve the goals you set and have fun doing it!
A parting quote for my beloved freshman/team “and I do it like I love it… STAY HARD”
We will miss you so much at the boathouse every day, Carly! 🫰 Don’t forget to come back and visit from time to time ♥️🤍🐾

She is currently traveling and doing freelance marketing work!
Her favorite memories of the team are c # # and trips to Happy Lamb hot pot!
Her advice for newcomers is “anything is possible if you put the work in. You have no idea what you’re capable of. Enjoy it while you can and take time to appreciate the little things, it’s over before you know it.”
We will miss you and your uncanny impressions at the boathouse every day!! ♥️🤍🐾
