🏀 1986: When Perfection Wore Green 💚
The 1985–86 Celtics are still considered one of the greatest teams in NBA history.
With Larry Bird at his absolute peak, Boston finished the regular season 67–15 and went undefeated at home in the playoffs.
Bird, McHale, Parish, and the legendary Bill Walton off the bench — it was a masterclass in teamwork, IQ, and grit.
They defeated the Houston Rockets in 6 games to lift Banner 16.

🏆 The Night the Garden Roared Louder Than Ever 🌪️
On June 17, 2008 — after 22 long years — the Boston Celtics returned to the top of the NBA mountain.
Led by the legendary Big Three: Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen, the Celtics crushed the Lakers 131–92 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, securing their 17th championship title — tying the Lakers for the most in NBA history at the time.
Pierce was named Finals MVP. KG screamed “Anything is possible!” on national TV. TD Garden shook to its foundation.
