🚴‍♀️ Ready to ride the Bay Circuit Trail?

Join us for the next BCT Rail Trail Ride Series on Tuesday, July 14 as we explore a section of the beautiful Mass Central Rail Trail in Wayland!

We’ll pedal 10–12 miles east along this paved, mostly flat trail, enjoying a summer evening on two wheels and connecting with fellow trail enthusiasts.

🕕 Time: 6:00–7:30 PM
🚲 Distance: 10–12 miles
🌿 Open to anyone who wants to ride and learn more about the Bay Circuit Trail

Bring your bike, water, and weather-appropriate gear. Since we’ll be riding in the evening, reflective clothing and lights are recommended. 🚴🌅🌿

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate National Trails Day than coming together at Institute Park in Worcester for our annual TrailsFest Celebration! 🥳✨

This year was extra historic as we paired the day with the massive Appalachian Mountain Club 150th Outdoor Relay. From morning adventures winding across Worcester’s beautiful green spaces to the main festival at the park, it was an incredible reminder of why we love, protect, and enjoy our local trails. 🚴‍♀️🚣‍♂️🚶‍♂️

A massive thank you to everyone who packed a picnic, brought a chair, and made this National Trails Day and once-in-a-century milestone so special alongside Park Spirit of Worcester, Inc and the incredible AMC Worcester Chapter team Appalachian Mountain Club Worcester Chapter AMC Worcester 20s & 30s who helped host it all.

Here’s to keeping our paths green, connected, and accessible for generations to come! 🙌🌲💚

Did you know our visitor center is the northern terminus for the Bay Circuit Trail and Greenway? Stewarded by the Appalachian Mountain Club, this 230-mile route links the north and south shores of Massachusetts. As part of Let's Go Outside this Saturday, you can join a special tour with AMC Trail Coordinator Sarah Dolan! Just a few spots are still available! Participants will be dropped off at Old Town Hill and hike the trail back to the refuge, including a stop for a special tour at Historic New England's Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm.
