Alexandros Kyriakopoulos - creator, pianist, and the soul of The Breath of Music. Bringing classical concert piano to Northeast Arts for the second time this year, Alexandros's music fills the theater with technical prowess and the passion that guides the dancers and choreographers.

Mr. Kyriakopoulos has performed "internationally at festivals and venues across Europe, the United States, Australia, and Latin America — from Italy’s Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival and the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, to Spain’s Gijon Festival, to recitals in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, and Greece. These experiences have given [him] the chance to share music with diverse audiences and to collaborate with remarkable artists, chamber musicians, and ballet companies."

On collaboration: "If there is one message I want readers, students, and audiences to carry with them, it is that music is never just notes. It is imagination, human connection, and transformation. That conviction is the core of my artistry, my teaching, and my brand. The mission is simple: to innovate, feel and live though music."

Gianni "Gino" Di Marco - creator, choreographer, and inspiration for The Breath of Music. Standing on a long and distinguished career as an artist, dancer and choreographer, Gino brings an instantly recognizable, yet fresh, take on each piece he creates. Gino has worked with people of all abilities, walks of life, ages and backgrounds, always finding the delicate balance between demanding excellence and highlighting a wide range of strengths within the constraints of the music, space, timeline or dancers he is working with. We consider him a creative genius.

Quality over quantity - when artists have a chance to dive into material together, we can reach into the hearts of the audience, provoking reflection, thought and feeling.

This is how art changes lives - of the artists, and of the audience.

Join us for our next concert "The Breath of Music" in September, knowing that your presence contributes to a vibrant community of neighbors and artists. Info and tickets in our bio or by visiting northeastartspace.org

Congrats dancers on a successful first week of Northeast Arts Adult Summer Intensive! 🎉🎊👏🏼

The week was full of hard work, dedication, sharing and successes. We saw dancers of a wide range of experience improve their acting skills, musicality, tour jetes and ability to remember choreography - one dancer even completed her first-ever full pirouette!

A few of many highlights….

Blowing off some nerves with a silly picture. There’s nothing more fun than being silly! 🤪
