The Boston 10K for Women will take over the streets of Boston for the 50th time on Saturday, October 10! Though our route has changed over the decades, it remains one of the flattest and fastest race courses in Boston.
You and your crew will stage in Boston Common and load onto Charles Street before the 9:00 a.m. start on Beacon St. Once the horn sounds, you'll run west along Beacon, then turn right onto the Massachusetts Avenue bridge heading towards Cambridge. You'll turn right onto Memorial Drive in Cambridge for two out and back loops that offer sweeping views of the city, and some glimpses of the elite field. Crossing back onto the Mass Ave Bridge, the city skyline draws closer before you turn left onto Commonwealth Ave. You'll loop around the Boston Public Garden, and finish (finish stronger!) on Charles Street.
But don't take our word for it. Live it yourself and register today to beat your PR this October!

We're excited to introduce Sayuri Lopez, the second athlete in our Women Powered by Withings initiative!
After losing half of her right lung, Sayuri Lopez made a decision: go after the dreams she once put off.
With no running background, she took on her first Boston 10K for Women—and found strength she never knew she had.
Now in her third year, she runs as a reminder to fully live.

Founded in memory of Vanessa Marcotte, the foundation is dedicated to ending violence against women and supporting programs that promote personal safety, empowerment, and healthy relationships. Through community partnerships, education initiatives, and advocacy efforts, the foundation works to create safer communities while honoring Vanessa’s legacy of kindness, compassion and service.
We are honored to support the foundation’s mission and grateful for the impact they continue to make throughout Massachusetts and beyond. 🦋

As we approach the 50th Boston 10K for Women, our sponsor Withings will recognize 10 amazing athletes that reflect the courage, determination, and passion of our running community. And we're excited to introduce our first athlete, Lily Wetherington!
Lily started running to manage anxiety and heart palpitations—but found strength, confidence, and purpose along the way.
Through running, she’s raised nearly $15K for causes close to her heart and completed the Boston 10K for Women twice.
Now, she’s continuing her journey—turning gratitude for her health into action, and proving that running can change more than just your pace.

It's , and we want to highlight all of our amazing volunteers! Last year, more than 350 volunteers arrived before sunrise to help us make Boston Common race-ready for thousands of runners.
