Celtics exploring potential acquisition of Giannis Antetokounmpo without including Jaylen Brown in deal ⤵️

Before everyone jumps to conclusions about Celtic’s offers to Milwaukee for Giannis & whether this will cause a riff between Jaylen & Boston, remember Stevens & staff are pretty leak proof. Who does it hurt if Boston is “reportedly” making offers to Milwaukee? That would be the Miami Heat.

It helps Milwaukee to have Boston also be a suitor. Celtics may not be negotiating at all with Milwaukee, but it is to Boston’s benefit for Miami & others to believe they are.

Brad has Jaylen’s number. He could have called him & told him the reports are false. A lot of assumptions are being made about “irreparable damage” when Brad & Jaylen could be on a porch sipping lemonade right now.

Not saying that Giannis to Boston isn’t a possibility. Just saying that just because something is reported doesn’t mean it’s true & everyone should create these catastrophic domino scenarios.

Almost all of the Celtics trades end up being something that wasn’t rumored for what it’s worth.
