Our programs include S.T.E.A.M. programs and education, athletic camps, fitness & wellness training, and nutrition courses.

Limitless Athletics transforms the lives of today’s youth by providing them with the necessary life skills to help empower them with confidence, tenacity, and integrity. We do this by teaching youth the importance of fitness and nutrition, academics, and athletic training while providing the necessary support systems in order for them to succeed in all of these areas. It is the goal of Limitless A

Here are the top 5 things college athletes should do—and watch out for—on social media:

1. Remember: every post is part of your résumé. Coaches, athletic departments, NIL brands, employers, reporters, and even opposing teams can look at your accounts. Before posting, ask yourself: “Would I be comfortable with my coach, parents, or a future employer seeing this?”
2. Stay away from posts made when you’re angry or emotional. Don’t immediately jump online after losing a game, getting benched, disagreeing with a coach, or dealing with teammates. Screenshots last much longer than the emotion that caused the post. Never publicly attack coaches, teammates, officials, opponents, or your school.
3. Protect your personal information and location. Avoid posting your home address, class schedule, hotel room, travel itinerary, financial information, or real-time location unnecessarily. College athletes can attract more attention than they realize, so account security matters too—use strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
4. Understand that likes, reposts, comments, and DMs count too. You don’t have to create an offensive post to create problems for yourself. Liking, sharing, reposting, or commenting on questionable content can still be associated with you. Also be extremely careful with private messages—DMs can be screenshotted.
5. Use social media to build your brand instead of damaging it. Post your training, academics, community involvement, personality, achievements, teammates, and legitimate NIL partnerships. Your platform can become an asset. The goal shouldn’t be to look perfect—it should be to show character, maturity, consistency, and who you are beyond your sport.

A simple rule I would teach athletes is:

POST = Permanent • Public • Professional • Purposeful

If a post doesn’t help your reputation, relationships, opportunities, or personal brand, you probably don’t need to post it. #

Limitless Athletics Honored with 2026 Community Empowerment Gratitude Award

Nearly a decade of service. Nearly a decade of showing up. Nearly a decade of believing that athletics can be about far more than wins, losses, trophies, or statistics.

Limitless Athletics Corp. is proud to announce that the organization has been nominated to receive the 2026 Community Empowerment Gratitude Award, recognizing its continued leadership, mentorship, compassion, and commitment to uplifting young people and families throughout the Boston community.

The recognition comes from Community Empowerment Founder Sandra D. Hamby, who highlighted Limitless Athletics for its tireless efforts to educate, motivate, mentor, and empower youth while addressing many of the challenges young people face every day.

This award means something.

Not because Limitless Athletics was created to collect recognition, but because it represents years of work that often happens when nobody is watching.

It represents the tutoring sessions.

The mentorship conversations.

The early mornings and late nights.

The football clinics.

The reading programs.

The academic support.

The fitness and wellness programs.

The college and private-school exposure.

The conversations about accountability, financial literacy, leadership, discipline, emotional intelligence, nutrition, education, and becoming productive young men and women.

It represents every coach, volunteer, educator, parent, donor, community partner, and supporter who decided that investing in our youth was worth the time.

Most importantly, it represents the young people.

Coming Up on 10 Years of Impact

This recognition arrives at an especially meaningful time for Limitless Athletics as the organization approaches its 10-year anniversary.

Think about what that means.

For nearly ten years, Limitless Athletics has continued working toward one mission: using athletics as a vehicle to educate, empower, develop, and create opportunities for young people.

There have been challenges.

There have been obstacles.

There have been programs that required sacrifice, fundraising, long hours, creative thinking, and people willing to work without receiving recognition.

But Limitless Athletics kept going.

That message was reflected powerfully in the award nomination:

Through the struggles and challenges, we are still standing.

And we are doing more than standing.

We are growing.

What began as a vision has developed into an organization that has touched the lives of hundreds of young people through athletics, academics, mentorship, community service, health and wellness, educational programming, and opportunities that extend far beyond the playing field.

The goal has never simply been to create better athletes.

The goal is to help create better students, better leaders, better decision-makers, better teammates, better community members, and young people who understand that their circumstances do not determine the limits of their future.

That is what makes this recognition so special.

The Work Has Always Been Bigger Than Sports

At Limitless Athletics, sports have always been the doorway — not the final destination.

A football can get a young person into the building.

A workout can create discipline.

Competition can build confidence.

Coaching can create relationships.

But once that relationship is built, the real work begins.

That is when conversations about academics happen.

That is when mentorship happens.

That is when a young person begins learning about accountability, financial literacy, career opportunities, emotional intelligence, nutrition, leadership, respect, and responsibility.

That is when athletics becomes a tool for something much bigger.

Transformation.

This Community Empowerment Gratitude Award recognizes exactly that type of work — the commitment to uplift individuals and families through compassion, action, mentorship, and service.

For Limitless Athletics, receiving that recognition is both an honor and a reminder that the mission must continue.

This Award Belongs to the Entire Limitless Family

While the nomination letter was addressed to Limitless Athletics CEO William “Leon” Finklea, this accomplishment represents the work of an entire community.

It belongs to the leadership that continued believing in the mission.

It belongs to the coaches who gave their time.

It belongs to the teachers and mentors who challenged young people academically and personally.

It belongs to the parents who trusted Limitless Athletics with their children.

It belongs to the organizations and businesses that partnered with us.

It belongs to every donor who contributed money, food, equipment, supplies, transportation, scholarships, or resources.

It belongs to every volunteer who helped when there was work to be done.

And it belongs to every young person who walked through our doors and gave us an opportunity to be part of their journey.

Limitless Athletics would not exist without the community, because Limitless Athletics was built for the community.

November 7, 2026

Limitless Athletics will be honored at the 2026 Community Empowerment Gratitude Awards Gala on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Thorny Lea Golf Club in Brockton, Massachusetts.

It will be an opportunity to celebrate an important milestone, reflect on how far the organization has come, and recognize the people who helped make the journey possible.

More information regarding the celebration and how supporters can attend will be released at a later date.

For now, we simply want to say:

Congratulations to Limitless Athletics.

Congratulations to everyone who has sacrificed for this mission.

Congratulations to every person who has helped us serve another child.

And congratulations to the young people who continue to remind us why this work matters.

As Limitless Athletics approaches ten years of service, this award is not the finish line.

It is confirmation that the work matters — and motivation to go even harder for the next ten years.

We are grateful.

We are proud.

We are still standing.

And we are far from finished.

The mission continues.
