A huge race weekend calls for a huge caption! 🔥

🇩🇰 At 70.3 Elsinore, childhood friends Elise Larson and Josephine Larsen—now living 9 time zones apart—crossed the finish line together in just under 7 hours. What a special moment.

🇨🇦 At 70.3 Mt. Tremblant, our three LifeSport Pros delivered once again, with Luke Tasker (3:52) and Marley Beckett (4:29) finishing 10th, and Maia Watson 8th (4:25). Katie Elizabeth, Zach Szypula & Patrick Graham also put together strong performances.

🇺🇸 At 70.3 Coeur d’Alene, Jeff Rippey took the age-group victory in 6:11. Jack Gales rode his way to 12th overall and 7th in his AG (4:28), Ernesto Samudio battled back from injury for 4th in his AG (4:48), and Hannah Reid claimed an AG win, a 70.3 Worlds slot, and a 6:22 finish. Shivali Bloom set a new 70.3 PR in 6:54, while Terry Cruz Jr. crossed in 6:12. Jack, Hannah, and Shivali all ran half marathon PRs on the day! 😤

Continuing west, Tanya Appuhn Crates finished 2nd at the Cascade Crit less than a year after open-heart surgery, while Michelle Hebert and Ruslan Strogantsev earned podium finishes at Hagg Lake with 2nd in the Olympic Duathlon and 3rd in the Olympic Triathlon. Back in Victoria, Glenn Van As took the age-group win at the Triathlon for Compassion. 🏆

And finally, heading back east, Alain Benzaken captured another age-group victory while Coach Christopher Thomas took the overall win 🤯at the Griskus Olympic Triathlon in Connecticut.

Congratulations to every LifeSport athlete who raced this weekend. The hard work is paying off, and we’re proud to be part of the journey 💙

Get ready to cheer for LifeSport’s Nicolette at 70.3 world’s this fall 🌎👀

At only her second attempt at the half IM distance, she clocked the fastest swim split & second bike split in her AG.

She took 3rd in her age-group and 7th overall 😮‍💨

“Proud of the early mornings, the long indoor rides, the brutal swim sets, the 14 hour days, the nerves, the mistakes, the lessons, and the finish line.”

👆🏻& that’s what it’s all about.

We’re looking forward to seeing you fly again!

One of the cheapest upgrades you can make to your race setup… 👟

Elastic laces won’t magically make you faster, but they can save valuable seconds in transition.

For sprint and Olympic-distance athletes, they’re almost a no-brainer. For long-course racing, the time savings are smaller, but many athletes still swear by the convenience and comfort.

So excited for LifeSport athlete Emily on her 70.3 Worlds qualification! 🎉

“Carrying the fitness and technical and mental cues I got from all the coaches and other athletes this winter made me feel as though I could attempt to actually race in Victoria even as an adult onset swimmer and newbie on a road bike.

70.3 Worlds wasn’t on my radar but after serendipitously qualifying in Victoria I’m now STOKED to race alongside the best in this sport - even as I continually ask the basic questions like I did pre race this time like “what do I wear on the bike if it rains on race day, and what RPE level is a 70.3 raced at, and how do I jump in the water without my goggles falling off??”

We’re happy to be in your corner Emily! 🫶🏼

INSANE RESULTS….🤯

EVERY LifeSport athlete was on the podium at the Portland Triathlon last weekend 🏆

We saw AG wins from Hannah Reid & Kalyan Chitrada😤

🫣Coach Juliet took 1st female overall with only 4 men beating her!!

🥈Also landing on the podium were David Soyster (2nd AG), Debbie Driscoll (2nd AG), Michelle Hebert (2nd Overall Sprint Duathlon), and Carly Rose Schmidt (2nd Overall Olympic Aquabike).

Triathlon is about the journey - but great results are a sweet, sweet reward! 🍬🥇

Reminder: don’t race your long ride today 🚨

The majority of your long rides should be spent in Zone 2 — an effort that feels controlled, sustainable, and repeatable.

This is where you build aerobic fitness, improve endurance, develop fat oxidation, and practice the fueling habits that matter on race day.

🤨💭Not sure if you’re training in the right zones or getting the most out of your workouts? Working with a coach can help ensure every session has a purpose and fits into a bigger plan.
