You have to grab a wristband with a time slot as soon as you get there, and they go FAST. If you’re planning to go, make this your first stop.

Sights and sounds of the Boston Athletic Association Boston 10k! It was a hot and sunny day and not a lot of share on the course so it was tough, but I’m proud of powering through and fighting for a new course PR!

I ran into a doctor mid-course too who shared how my MS journey has inspired her. She told Matt while we were running because I was on the struggle bus, but once he told me I ran to catch up to her because it meant so much to me 🫶🏼

Using this as a building block and my next race is the Home Base Run to Home Base on 7/25!

Soccer is so much more than a sport. 🤍

As the New England Revolution team reporter, I shared the story of a young cancer warrior named Malia. Through soccer, she formed a special bond with USMNT goalkeeper Matt Turner, and through her courage, she touched all of us. Her family actually sponsors his locker at the USMNT Training Facility in Atlanta.

But Malia became more than a story to me. I kept in touch with her family, cheered her on in her passions, and was lucky enough to try her famous brown butter toffee chocolate chip cookies.

Three years ago, Malia passed away. Before one of her final procedures, she looked at her family and said, “I’ve got this.”

Today, I ran a 5K in her honor and felt her spirit with every step.

The people, the connections, the community. That’s why we love this game. 🫶🏼
