Not because our journey has been easy or without flaws, but because generation after generation has chosen courage over fear, service over self, and liberty over tyranny.

Our nation was founded on the bold belief that every person is created equal and endowed with rights that no government can take away. Those ideals have inspired millions around the world and have been defended by the brave men and women who answered the call to protect them.

As we gather with family and friends, watch fireworks fill the sky, and proudly fly the Stars and Stripes, let us embrace the incredible blessing of living in a free nation. But as we celebrate, may we never forget the cost of protecting that freedom.
Every generation of Americans has answered the call to defend the liberties we enjoy today. They stood watch in distant lands, endured unimaginable hardships, and made sacrifices so that future generations could live free.
Freedom has never been free.
It has been secured by those who never made it home. By those who returned carrying visible and invisible wounds. By those standing the watch today while we celebrate. And by the families who quietly serve beside them—enduring missed birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and countless moments so their loved ones can answer the call of duty.

Statement from Vest Up 4 The Fallen: Although this heartbreaking loss occurred a days ago, we wanted to take a moment to honor the life of a Massachusetts State Trooper whose passing has deeply impacted so many.

While this tragedy happened off duty, the loss is no less profound. Our hearts are with his family, friends, loved ones, and the entire Massachusetts State Police family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.

At Vest Up 4 The Fallen, we believe that those who dedicate their lives to serving others deserve to be remembered. We will continue to speak their names, honor their lives, and ensure their legacy is never forgotten.
