Trainer tip from Jose Raymond. Even though Gym Hub has some of the best machines ever made, it’s still important to have a foundation of free weight movements.

The mythical AFS leg press… we have it! It’s an absolute favorite leg press for many in our gym. The prices on the secondary market have been crazy lately. The last two to sell sold for $35K and $40K. Thankfully we got ours for free out of an abandoned gym where it was going to be scrapped by a junk company within days if we didn’t grab it right away. What a once in a lifetime find!

We’ve been flooded twice in the last month. Both times major city water main pipes burst on different streets causing huge amounts of water to cover the gym. Thankfully because of the quick response from cleanup teams, we’ve been able to stay open. We appreciate everyone in our community who continues to show up to train while we work to repair the damage. When there is a will, there is a way. During these hard times I’m reminded of the quote from the movie Rocky Balboa. “It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.”
