Back in May Angie and I attended a Memorial Hunt for a Club Member that had passed away. Angie found an awesome US Service button, and she got a nice write up in the clubs news letter.

Happy 4th of July to all my American followers!
To celebrate I thought I would show off some of my patriotic finds.
First and most recently is a US Service button, found by my wife.
Then we have a US Victory Medal, award to Allied service members between 1917 and 1918.

Angie and I had a great day this past Saturday at the Dave Bronin Memorial hunt. The weather held out for the morning and then some mild rain for the afternoon.
We ended up finding some great buttons, Angie found a US Service button from the 1850's, And a sweet pocket knife.
I got some nice buttons, and a great toy cap gun. I had been wanting to find a cap gun for a long time.
It was a great turn out and we got to see some good people!
I have always wanted to find one of these metal detecting!
