A little shout out to Christian for some serious progress clearing the brush, trees, and logs. Our goal next year is to extend the track into the woods and all his work is helping to achieve that!

Dreams come true💕 Sometimes dreams are grand, like owning a farm or showing at the elite level, other times they are the relationship and connection between the horse and rider. When I met Alto in July, Heather Conley and I chatted about her goals for her and Alto. The biggest one for Alto was comfort and to live a life with friends, forage, and freedom. Heather’s dream was to ride ba****ck again, even just at the walk. Today we helped make that happen and she couldn’t be happier💕 Fear not Alto was also happy, he enjoyed his grazing time. Moments like today make all the work worth it. Dreams are so personal, share them, chase them, and celebrate all the wins!

Rainy day on the farm! Hay in all the sheds and Gus, Banjo, and Alto choose to be out. Sprite and the donkeys would never, they hate even the slightest bit of rain 🌧️ Sunny well he’s where ever Sprite is, so he’s in the shed lol

I still second guess myself about whether I should bring them in to their nice, cozy, dry, and well bedded stalls stocked with hay and water…and seeing them
today I’m reminded that they all still have those things and a choice of friends and to eat in the rain.

I always strive todo whats best for them, and sometimes it’s letting them be a horse with choices.

Me trying to prioritize my pony🩷 All too often, with good intentions, I run out of time and energy todo all the things, and he misses out. Not today I said this morning to Josh Pru! Gus and I went for the best, carefree, happy walk in the woods and all over the property. It makes it all worth it💕

Come along while I do night check! It was surprisingly spooky and dark already at 7:30 and I needed to use my head lamp.

The herd is settling in and we are anticipating our final herd member at the end of the month.

Banjo enjoying the new enrichment on the track. We are currently putting hay in it, though other things like carrots can be included. I have all my hay bags on the ground or low to the ground as horses are natural foragers, this toy enables them to tree graze as they would in the wild.
