The Borah Mountain Bike Team in Boise, ID serves to promote the sport of mountain biking, utilizing the Idaho Interscholastic Cycling League as a means of getting more kids on bikes.
Last weekend was the first varsity race for Borah rider Calvin Rausch. He finished strong at 10th place at the season opener at Brundage Mountain Resort Join us in cheering Calvin and the team on at Magic Mountain Ski Resort today!

We’re not April Foolin’...head on over to Pit Zone and get registered for the 2025 season!
Although practices don’t officially begin until July 1st, it’s important to register early and be Practice Ready so student athletes can participate in any team or league preseason activities.

Parents, Practice Ready means you have:
• Completed your registration information in the Pit Zone
• Paid your NICA and league fee
• Signed your electronic waivers
You know you are Practice Ready if when you login to the Pit Zone you don’t see any messages about waivers or paying your NICA and/or league fee. You will also see under your “Rider Information” on the left hand side a note: Practice Ready: YES
As a reminder, don’t fret when you register at the start of the season and you are placed in a category based on your grade and not your previous season results. Over the next few months, we will use the Category Placement Table (CPT) to move 10th, 11th and 12 graders into their 2025 default category based on 2024 results. Then you’ll have the ability to work with your head coach or team director to request a category change before the first race of the season.
If you have any questions about category placement, Pit Zone, or the registration process, please reach out to your Team Director.
Also, if you plan to attend any of the IICL bikepacking trips this summer, registration is open for those events in Pit Zone. Please note that these trips tend to fill up quickly, so if you want to ensure you have a spot, make sure you register soon than later!
