Be smart with your training this week. With the high AQI's in the treasure valley, exercising outdoors would not be my recommendation. Thats where treadmills and other indoor cardio activities come into play. I will say though, when i do venture outside for a needed exercise outing, I do pay attention to the AQI numbers. Anything above moderate (yellow) I'm wearing an N95 masked which I also cover with a two-layered Buff to keep the tight (necessary) seal on my face. The breathing becomes more difficult therefore this is a good excuse to run a bit more slowly and shorter. I will not go out and run if the AQI is red or higher-----just saying. Be smart. Your lungs will appreciate It!!

Anyone interested in buying my Bionic Runner (a rare find) just dm or search FB marketplace for a full description. It’s an awesome adjunct to training but I have no need for it anymore.

My nearly new Bionic Runner is up for sale. A rare find and really a nice fitness cycle for developing running specific leg strength without the impact forces of running. I used it for rehabilitating an injury that I suffered in the past while competing. Visit FB Marketplace for more information, or feel free to reach out to me directly.😊

Anyone looking to get a great deal on a Bionic Runner, nearly new, let me know. I had used this bike a few times when I had SI inflammation to relieve the impact forces of running. I found it very helpful.

Views on my fast walks and runs. Base training is a time to reprogram and set goals for the year. Currently I’m working on fast walking mixed with runs with higher intensity. As a older runner, this balance helps me stay healthier and less prone to injuries.
