Good luck to Maiya and Cali Castillo, who left for Chile on Monday to train at Everton in Chile for the next two months. Maiya will be training with the U20 team, while Cali is training with the U17s.
“My goal is to get better by playing daily in a professional club, learning the language, and getting looked at by the U20 national team,” said Maiya, who is a freshman on the FAU Women’s team and a member of the Team Boca ECNL 2008 squad. Cali is on the Team Boca ECNL U16 team. “Cali has had interest from the U17 national team, and this will also help her get seen and maybe get a chance with them, as I did.”
