The process.

Trusting it will bring you far.

Show up every day, follow the program, give all of yourself, stay present focusing on today only, not getting caught up in tomorrow because it only ruins our current presence.

6 years straight of showing up and asking the right questions looks like this.

The process didn’t really involve picking some lofty goal and only continuing if it was aligned with that goal. “If I don’t make it I’m done” type energy… because expectations are what cause burnout.

The process is just loving this s**t because it’s what we do.

The goal is merely just trying to improve every day, in some small little way. Always. Forever.

Getting more out of ourselves.. and doing that with great intensity, brings great things.

Video 3 is 180lbs sn**ch complex on stage at Wodapalooza elite 2024

Just always giving all of yourself when you show up gets you there.
Whatever self you’ve got, bring all of it.

It turns 3000th in the world to top 100. Top 100 turns into 6th in the world in her division at the .

We laugh about our efforts of trying to go to the CrossFit games forever. And that end goal is just a dangling carrot that keeps us accountable…

But it’s really all of us training together, trying to get the most out of ourselves, that is the real prize. To keep searching for hidden abilities. Digging them out by just trusting the process.

Katie starts this process over this weekend at trying to crown herself in California to get another shot at the CrossFit games.

Another opportunity to learn. And keep showing what trust looks like.

50 athletes in CrossFit HYPE qualified for the quarterfinals this year.

50.
It’s our 3rd year in a row of doing more than 50 athletes into quarterfinals

Top 25% in the world.

Someone asks me to talk about HYPE, I talk about it metaphorically.

Pick your gym as if you’re going to war. Who would you want to go to war with besides you.

I’ll let you choose.

You know where to find us.

I’m proud to be in a space surrounded by people who give a s**t.

People who care about their health, their consistency, their intensity, their peers. Push one another, keep each other accountable.

Show up and keep showing up.

Next year I want 100. 15 others were just under the cut line. And 20 not far off of that.

This weekend has been full of incredible efforts. One more day to send it to the moon 🌙. Scores due by 3pm.

Let’s see how many we can get into semifinals.

What a privilege.

Miami 2026 was full of many things.

After a bit of reflection, I leave hoping for more opportunities spending it doing the exact thing we came here to do.

To experience, to compete, to try, to risk, to prevail, to fail, to win, to lose, to laugh.

What a privilege it was to hang out with our friends, in the sun, and in the rain, doing hard things, together.

If the most fun thing we did all weekend was have our entire crew hiding under a tent together from the rain storm, after we all went to the moon on some workouts, laughing about our failures…

I’m taking it as a pretty big win.

It’s a privilege to do what we’re doing, with who we’re doing it with.

We all want more, but the weekend was a win.

The season has just begun…

“I think we figured out how to stop aging”

Mel says as she’s leaving the gym on a random Sunday at 8:30am.

after showing up early to do extra work.
Alone.

Because she couldn’t make it on Friday from traveling across the state.

But it wasn’t just any extra work.
She wanted to do “Fran”. 21-15-9 thrusters/pullups.

Just because, it’s been a while..

Which is a bit mental…

she went :42 seconds faster than her previous time.

That was 8 years ago…

She’s 64 years old.
And getting better, at everything, literally every year.

Hit her first muscle up at 63 years old..

She’s proving it’s possible. To just keep improving.

This is her 14th open, in a ROW:

My opinion on “figuring out”, is she hasn’t stopped.
Not once. For anything. She makes time, always. Consistent as anyone, on earth. Potentially more. She’s going to be top 100 fittest in her class this year. And I’m fired up to know people like her.

Proud to have her on our team. Representing what it looks like to work. Endlessly. While improving every step of the way.

This is the way.

Care more.

That’s it. Just care more.

Trying new things, creates life.

Progressing in new things, is inevitable with consistency.

Being precise with your goals, is dangerous.

Being around people that call their shot, commit, and then make it happen… Is infectious.

Get close to someone who does this regularly… you’ll feel the difference. You soak it up when you’re around them.

No “I think I’m going to_____”, not “I want to ____”…

It’s “I’m going to ______”.

Put a date on it. Say it to someone. Write it down. And make it real. Make a contract with yourself.
And watch that s**t fly.

Life gets real when you start adding precision to what you want. Pick it EXACTLY. And then just stay working until you do it.

It took Joey 13 years to do it.

Started crossfitting then… and just hit it now.

Consistency pays.

He may have said it a long time ago… but this year he wanted to sn**ch 300lbs before the end of the year.

And said he was going to do it.

During a sn**ch ladder in class… got up to 265lbs…. And took an absolute mental jump from 265lbs straight to 300lbs … because nothing else matters… and did it.

He made that goal happen with a few days to spare.

Time for more
