Does height really matter in tennis? 🎾
From Jimmy Connors (5’10” / 178 cm) to Jannik Sinner (6’3” / 191 cm), the greatest champions in history have succeeded at very different heights.
What they all had in common wasn’t size—it was extraordinary movement, technique, resilience, and an unwavering competitive mindset.
There’s no “perfect” height to become a champion. Every body type brings unique strengths:
* 📏 Taller players often generate bigger serves and enjoy greater reach.
* ⚡ Shorter players are often quicker, more agile, and stay lower through the court.
At the highest level, talent, training, and mental toughness consistently matter more than a few inches.
Question for you:
👇 If you could choose the “ideal” height for a future Grand Slam champion, what would it be?
* 🟢 Under 5’11” (180 cm)
* 🔵 6’0”–6’2” (183–188 cm)
* 🔴 6’3”+ (191+ cm)
Or do you believe height doesn’t matter nearly as much as people think? 🎾🏆

Straight sets, statement wins. Jannik Sinner didn’t drop a set to Novak Djokovic, out-serving the greatest returner of all time to reach back-to-back Wimbledon finals as the defending champion. On the other side of the draw, Alexander Zverev survived an early tiebreak scare before dismantling British wildcard Arthur Fery in his first-ever Wimbledon final appearance — ending a fairytale home run for the World No. 114.
Sunday: World No. 1 vs. World No. 2. Defending champion vs. first-time finalist. Zverev has lost to Sinner nine straight times — can he finally break through on the biggest stage?

Wimbledon doesn’t care about reputations. It rewards whoever solves the puzzle on the day.
🇩🇪 Alexander Zverev was in complete control, defeating Taylor Fritz in straight sets despite Fritz battling through a knee injury.
🇬🇧 Arthur Fery delivered another unforgettable performance, stunning No. 9 seed Flavio Cobolli to keep his remarkable Wimbledon run alive. The British wildcard is becoming one of the stories of the tournament.
Every day at Wimbledon produces a new hero.
Which result surprised you the most: Zverev’s dominance or Fery’s incredible run? 👇

🇮🇹 Jannik Sinner continued to look nearly unstoppable.
🇷🇸 Novak Djokovic reminded the tennis world why champions are never out of a fight, surviving an epic five-hour thriller against Félix Auger-Aliassime, ending with three tiebreaks and one unforgettable finish.

A British wildcard. Five sets. A former world No.3. Gone. Fery beats Dimitrov 7-6 in the fifth to reach the quarterfinals at the All England Club — the first British wildcard to go this far since 1993. SW19 hasn’t seen anything like this in decades.
Cobolli takes out de Minaur (5) in straight sets — another top seed eliminated, the Italian is quietly becoming one of the most dangerous players left in the draw. Fritz dispatches Bublik efficiently to set up what could be a blockbuster quarterfinal against Zverev — if Zverev finishes off Lehecka tomorrow.
Three matches. Three stories. The quarterfinals are taking shape and nobody saw this bracket coming.

Round of 16, first half done. Sinner was metronome-level against Mochizuki — clean, efficient, zero drama. Djokovic handled Safiullin in four, the Cinderella story finally over.
Auger-Aliassime had to dig deep — two sets down twice against Davidovich Fokina before closing it out in five. The Canadian is battle-tested heading into the quarters.
But the moment of the day belongs to Struff. Hurkacz retires at 4-2 in the fifth, handing the German a quarterfinal spot against Sinner. An unseeded journeyman vs the world No.1 on Centre Court. Nobody saw this coming.
Second half of the R16 tomorrow — Zverev, Fritz, Dimitrov, and Fery all in action. 👀
