We welcome you to our unique kimura BJJ culture of unity, camaraderie and BJJ excellence. Men, woman
Parents, you may be the reason your child quits Jiu-Jitsu.
Too much pressure can destroy their love for the sport. Watch this before it’s too late and share it with a Jiu-Jitsu parent who needs to hear this.
Watch how every position connects to the next one.
Vitinho and Priscila are two of our coaches, and both have been training with us since they were 11 years old. In this video, they’re drilling one of the sequences from our system: knee half guard, sitting back to full half guard, transitioning to waiter guard, placing the shin under the leg, hitting the sweep and finishing with a very effective over-under pass.
This is how we train at our school. We don’t practice isolated techniques. We drill complete sequences until every transition becomes natural.

Is your child prepared to get pushed at school, at the park, or at the beach and know exactly how to react?
This student is only seven years old, learning how to breakfall safely and stand back up with confidence. The way a child falls, gets up, and looks at the other child can change everything. After seeing a breakfall and technical stand-up like this, that child will probably think twice before pushing them again.
This is one of the most basic skills we teach in our academy. Real Jiu-Jitsu builds confidence, and confidence earns respect
Liam Liam Torres Ed doing one of the kids competition team sequence!
Does your child know how to protect themselves if someone pushes them at school, at the park, or anywhere else? In this video, I’m teaching our 7–9-year-olds how to breakfall safely and use a technical stand-up to get back on their feet while protecting themselves. It all starts with learning how to fall and how to get back up the right way. Bring your kid for a free week trial at kimura!
Today in our Kids Competition Class, Mayah worked on five different sequences. This was one of them: collar-and-sleeve guard pull, tripod sweep attempt, reverse tripod when the opponent defends, come up into a double-under pass, and when the opponent rolls, follow with the seatbelt and take the back. Great work tonight, Mayah! 💪🔥
JP is 14 years old, a gray belt, and the oldest athlete on our Kids Competition Team. In this sequence, he pulls collar-and-sleeve guard, transitions to De La Riva, enters deep De La Riva, and then uses an X De La Riva sweep by pulling and rolling backward. As he comes on top, he immediately takes the back, secures the seat belt, and finishes with a bow-and-arrow choke. A very advanced and beautiful sequence for his age. Great work, JP! 🔥🥋
