What a way to kick off our first home game of the season! Congratulations to the May River Sharks Football Team on an awesome win over Mountain View Prep! 💙🤍

We loved seeing the BIG turnout and feeling the energy throughout the stadium! The Shark spirit was on full display, and we especially loved seeing so many of Coach Nimmer’s friends and family there cheering on the Sharks! 🦈💙

This football season, Booster Club is offering limited VIP parking along the home side bleachers.
This Thursday (home opener 🥳), proceeds are split between Booster Club and BOYS VOLLEYBALL!

Here are the 2 ways to snag a spot:

✅️ Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, and Great White booster members get VIP parking for the whole season! If you haven’t signed up yet, become a member at mayriverboosters.org

✅️ Purchase a spot for the night upon arrival. Space is limited, so available spaces are first-come first-serve.

We hate to do this, but...

🚨We are dangerously close to having no concessions for this school year. Or at the very least, only opening for rivalry games.🚨

Imagine... none of our famous hotdogs. No soft pretzels. No fundraising opportunity for teams that made many hundreds from it last year.

We have had several volunteers offer to help in concessions at a committee level, and we are so grateful for that! But without someone willing to step up and coordinate, the concession stand cannot open.

Last year, every bit of it for all sports and all seasons was done by two people - with no committee. They had no experience, but they learned on the fly and created and implemented systems that were extremely successful. They had to take on new roles at the board level to allow Boosters to continue operating at all. But they are ready to train a new coordinator - or team of 2 or 3 - and set on the path to even greater success this year!

The systems are in place, with a team of people ready to help. No experience necessary! Just some flexibility and a heart to serve our school, student athletes and community. Our teams deserve to have concessions at their games.
