Smoky Mountain World Series !!

Not exactly the result we wanted but we had fun together regardless, learning, growing in the game , a couple good team dinners. The girls went 2-2 in pool play losing a couple close games by just 1 run. In bracket play we had the lead the whole way before one bad inning where it seemed nothing went our way.. Moving forward we will continue to work , grow and build ourselves to the team we know we can be. While it can be easy to get down about a performance we are happy to see the growth and determination in each of our girls.

We may be a different team name but still the same family!! Still miss you Ronnie you would be so proud of these girls but we know you got the best seat in the house watching from above

A year ago yesterday we lost a mountain elite family member! We miss you and think of you often Ronnie!

We dedicate this weekends tournament to you! Win or lose we will do our best to play the game you loved so much in a way that would make you proud

9 games in two days with a 5-4 record … it wasn’t always pretty but we battled and finished strong when it counted. After a couple ugly losses we challenged them to focus and reset to play the brand of ball we play. We still started slow this morning but heated up as the day went on and took care of business at the end. Great job girls !!!
