Ashley fell in love with dance at a young age, from dancing at a camp at the YMCA to dancing through college. She began teaching at East Stroudsburg University and was the secretary of the ESU contemporary dancers. Ashley continued to dance and teach at the University of Scranton where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She applies her knowledge and skill as a physical therapist into her teaching and stretching methods to avoid injuries and progress dancers appropriately. Dabbling in a variety of dance styles including tap, ballet, acro, hip-hop, stomp, and modern, she became most passionate about lyrical, contemporary and jazz dance styles. Ashley takes great joy in choreographing routines: β€œIt is when I see the dancer come to life and they get to express their emotions and tell their story.” Several of Ashley’s routines have received platinum and high gold awards and overall high score placements at competitions. In addition to the art of dance, Ashley also has a passion for photography. She enjoys capturing all amazing talents, including her dancers, as well as portraits, families, headshots, weddings, special occasions, engagement sessions, senior photos, and pets are some of her specialties.
