Our annual tradition of running to Buffalo Trace. You know you are important when law enforcement agrees to shut down part of the road. Thankful we can safely take 100 kids out to the park.

Thank you to the high school girls’ team for joining us at our meet tonight. Our high school athletes did a great job of delivering motivational speeches and cheering on our runners on. Thankful for the camaraderie and support we have for each other.

Fun Run Opportunity.

Illinois kicks off their Homecoming with a fun run (almost a 5k but not quite) that ends by the Alumni Association where the Marching Illini plays, usually Coach Bielema kicks off Homecoming with the ceremonious dyeing of the orange fountain, and of course all the delicious pancakes you can eat!

The Illinois Homecoming Run is on Sunday September 27th, 2026. It includes the following events: Illinois Homecoming Run and Virtual Homecoming Run.

What a night! High school girls took 2nd to a strong Shelbyville team (coached by an alumni of our program- Lucas Prather)

Boys finished in 1st.

This is a really big meet with many of the states’ best distance runners.

Congrats to Coach Grotelueschen and Coach Walmer on a solid start to your seasons.
