Interesting night for us tonight!
Started off the night at hidden valley speedway for championship night and we didn’t pull a great pull but started us 3ed in heat 2. And we made it to second and was trying to run some the leader but I went against my better judgement and jumped to the top side and got freight trained back to 4th. Starting us 7th for the feature. We had a good car making it to 5th. With no cautions coming out we wasn’t able to make up enough ground to catch the rest of the field. Rolled off the track and loaded everything up and decided we’d make the hustle over to hummingbird speedway to tag the end of the field. As most of y’all know I have a lotta laps and memories here and with the unfortunate news they won’t be open next year we had to make one more shot at it.
Rolled on the track sitting dead last and had a great run and the unusual feeling of running the Bottom I clipped the loader tire and spun out, but we managed to charge back up to finish 6th at the bird with some good racing with both including the great bounty hunter!

Hidden valley bound tonight for the season ender!

Made a return to dog hollow speedway Friday night. First time there in this car and while we pulled a bad pull to start the night we managed to get some good results.
Heat race we started in third and held it for our first trip across the scale house.
With the 3ed place heat finish that put us 6th for the feature as we rolled out we made it up to 5th before falling behind to 7th. Where we finished.
Just don’t have the power to get us around as fast as we needed to go further. A good night for putting some more laps in the seat.

Weekly Racing Night | Friday, Aug. 21 | Four Cylinder Make Up Race

Weekly Racing 🏁 Featuring 358 Semi Lates, Small Block Modifieds, Penn Ohio Pro Stocks, Pure Stocks and Four Cylinders along with the Four Cylinder Make Up Race from July 3rd. This race is for double points and will determine the Mid Season Championship for the Four Cylinders.

Special Announcement: Weather & Race Update

With tonight being Fan Appreciation Night and how much all of our fans enjoy this special evening, we want the odds to be on our side for that to happen. Unfortunately, the forecast for that time frame later tonight isn't looking favorable so we have made the difficult decision to cancel this evenings event.

We will reschedule Fan Appreciation Night for next Friday, August 14th as part of the Jess Mayhew SCDRA Memorial. The Four Cylinder make up race will be rescheduled for Saturday, August 22nd.

Unfortunately we’ve been a bit quiet here. After having the whole new front end completely destroyed we hope to be back weather dependent next weekend. We have hero cards for everyone now for fan appreciation night thanks to Neon Nights Photography. If anyone would like once I’ll make sure to get ya one.

Marion center recap
Pill 2
Started pole of heat race 1 and quickly fell to the rear after about spinning out but still had some good speed after running all small tracks lately. Unfortunately that put us deep in a full field come feature time.
Rolled off p16 for the feature with hopes of moving forward and surviving. Unfortunately only made it two laps after spinning to avoid a car the spun and got absolutely smoked. Very disappointing after feeling how good the car felt.
Huge thanks to uncle bill for always giving me a good hot rod. One of these nights I’ll be able to make a good run.
Unsure if we’ll be ready for this coming weekend but fingers crossed. 🤞
