2026 Girls High School Golf National Invitational Event :: Tournament Results

Practice round time for these ladies at Pinehurst!

As State Champs, the Toros were invited to play in the High School Golf National Invitational at Pinehurst in North Carolina. These ladies have worked so hard to earn this, and they and their families have fundraised hard to make this trip happen. You’ve got this, ladies! Horns Up! 🤘

The AHSAA Radio Network Female Golf Coastal Alabama PLAYER OF THE YEAR presented by Greene & Phillips - Injury Lawyers is Spanish Fort High School Junior Golfer, Sara Carter Hare.
During the 2026 golf season Sara Carter’s 18 Hole scoring average was 72.6. Sara Carter led her Toro team, coached by Emily Hudson, to the 6A State Championship by winning Low Medalist honors shooting 3 under par both days of State Tournament play, to finish 6 under par.
Sara Carter has been on the varsity golf team for five years and has won multiple all tournament team honors each year of her career. This season she was the FOX 10 Player of the Week, the Rotary Club of Mobile Female Golfer of the Year, Baldwin County All County Team. Sara Carter will play on the South team during the AHSAA All Star week in July. She still has one more season of high school golf, but has already committed to play collegiate golf for the UAB Blazers after graduation in 2027. She has been a maid on the Spanish Fort Homecoming Court all 3 years of high school. She also played Flag Football for the Toros. Sara Carter is actively involved in her church and loves to spend time with her family and friends.
