This past weekend, Auburn Off-Road had the opportunity to compete at Baja SAE Oregon 2026 with car # 148.
This competition marked a huge step forward for our program.
After the difficulties our team faced last season that prevented us from competing, being able to make it to Oregon and represent Auburn again is something every member of this team is incredibly proud of. The amount of dedication, perseverance, and late nights put in by our members made this moment possible.
One of the biggest accomplishments for our team this weekend was successfully passing tech inspection on our first try and being able to participate in every static and dynamic event throughout the competition. After everything our program has overcome, these milestones meant a tremendous amount to our team.
Throughout the weekend we faced multiple mechanical breaks and setbacks, but the team continued pushing forward to keep the car running. After everything this program has been through, we are extremely grateful to have made it to endurance and be back competing again. Every challenge this weekend gave us more motivation to continue improving and come back stronger.
None of this would have been achievable without the continued support from our advisors, alumni, sponsors, friends, and families who have supported us every step of the way. We are also incredibly grateful to the event organizers, volunteers, and officials who helped make Baja SAE Oregon possible.
On to Ohio.
