Who can relate?

I saw my friend House The Smiths Built do this reel and I could relate so much! This week I went to get a buccal facial at My Rainberry and I never wanted it to end.

A year ago we were on the best trip we’ve ever taken — Alaska on the Celebrity Cruises Edge.

5 reasons it’s the one I keep talking about:

✨ The scenery didn’t feel real. Every window like a moving painting.

✨ Unpack once. Wake up somewhere new. That’s the magic of cruising.

✨ Celebrity’s service is a different league — staff remembered our names by day two.

✨ The spa on the Edge gave me the best massage I’ve ever had.

✨ The excursions were unforgettable — helicopter to a glacier in Juneau, the train through Skagway, watching bears catch salmon in Ketchikan.

If you’ve been thinking about an Alaska cruise — this is your sign. And do it on Celebrity.

Where are you dreaming about traveling next?

Tell me I’m not the only one who does this.

I finally stopped fighting it.

The only way I consistently get my workout in is first thing in the morning and scheduled OUT of my house.

When I tell myself I’ll do it at home, I get distracted by “just one quick thing,” and before I know it the whole day is gone and I never moved.

The one thing that makes home workouts actually work for me.

1️⃣ Schedule it like a real appointment
2️⃣ Follow an app so I’m not deciding what to do next.
3️⃣ Don’t answer the phone. Don’t let anything pull me away.

Now I want to hear from you — are you the same? Or have you figured out how to be consistent at home? Tell me in the comments, I’m genuinely taking notes.

She picked up the walk in about four seconds.

The rest of it takes a lot longer.

How a woman talks about her own body. Whether she stands up straight in a swimsuit or angles herself behind somebody else. What she mutters when she catches her reflection and doesn’t love what’s looking back.

And she’s learning it from all of us. Her mama, her aunts, her grandmothers, the women she overhears at the pool and in the grocery store check out.

We’re all teaching her something, all the time, mostly by accident.

I’d rather do it on purpose!

Who were the women who taught you how to walk into a room, embodied and confident?

5 Things I started in my 50s to get my confidence back.

1️⃣ I started HRT.
2️⃣ I started using peptides.
3️⃣ I started walking 10000 steps a day (most days).
4️⃣ I started planning my meals around protein and fiber.
5️⃣ I started listening to my body.

We are all different. There is no one size fits all in middle age.

My grandson turned a year old yesterday!

Even though he lives across the country from me it’s the little moments that I get to FaceTime and spend time with him@that mean the world to me.

A random thought I’ve been having.

I’m not an influencer. I’m more of a connector. My goal here is to connect with the things I love. 😀

Thank you for being here.

Time for a little midlife multiple choice, travel edition! ✈️

I’m a solid A. I’ve watched every carry-on video on the internet.

I own the packing cubes.

I start with the carry-on feeling very proud and end up dragging out the biggest suitcase because it turns out I can’t fit it all.

And then, of course, I fill it! Because now there’s room 😂

Which one are you? Drop your letter in the comments! I want to see what type of traveler you are!

I’ve been doing this flip since I was a kid.
I’m 60 and still flipping!

Not to prove anything.
Because it’s fun and because somewhere along the way we quietly decided we’re too old to be silly in the pool.

Then one day we look up and we’ve been in the lounge chair for ten years.

Keep moving while it’s easy. It’s a whole lot simpler to hold onto something than to get it back.

What’s your version of this? The thing you still do just because it’s fun?
