๐Ÿฅ‡ MEDAL MONDAY RACE REPORT ๐Ÿฅ‡

Today's report is not about finish times or PRs. Today is about something far more important. Today is about community, love, and honoring a life that touched so many. ๐Ÿงก

This past Friday evening, Resolute Runners Julie Jones, Kabeer Ahmed, Anna Hurst, and Coach Steven Estrada made the trip to Cullman, AL to participate in the Christina Chambers Twilight 5K, an event created to honor the life and legacy of Christina Chambers, a Cullman native, an avid runner, and a vibrant spirit whose light left this world far too soon.

As the sun set and the lights came on, the community came together to celebrate Christina's love of running and the strength she embodied. Glowsticks in hand, runners and walkers of all ages took to the course under the evening sky, united by something bigger than a race. They were united by love, by remembrance, and by the belief that the best way to honor someone who loved to run is to lace up and run. ๐ŸŒ™โœจ

All net proceeds from the race benefit her son, Constantine, and local charities, helping carry forward the legacy of love she left behind.

That is beautiful. And it is exactly the kind of event the running community shows up for.

We are so proud of our Resolute Runners and Coach Steven for making the drive to Cullman to be part of this special evening. This is what being part of a running community truly means. It is not always about racing. Sometimes it is about showing up, being present, and saying with your feet that a life mattered.

To the Chambers family and everyone who poured their hearts into making this event possible, thank you. The entire Resolute Running family stands with you. ๐Ÿ™

๐Ÿฅ‡ MEDAL MONDAY RACE REPORT ๐Ÿฅ‡

We are taking the Resolute Running race report all the way to beautiful Vancouver, Canada today! ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆโœˆ๏ธ

Resolute Runner Cindy Gilmore traveled north of the border to take on one of the most unique and exciting race experiences in the running world, the lululemon SeaWheeze Half Marathon! And what an experience it is. For the first time in six years, SeaWheeze returned to Vancouver for what can only be described as a full blown celebration of running. We are talking two days of activities, group yoga in Stanley Park, a massive Sunset Festival featuring world renowned DJ John Summit, and 13.1 miles of movement, high fives, and pure hype through one of the most beautiful cities on earth. Run. Yoga. Party. Repeat. ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ”๏ธ

Cindy has been putting in the work all summer long to get ready for this one, battling through some challenging obstacles along the way without ever losing focus on the goal. That kind of grit and determination does not go unrewarded.

Her goal going in? Run a 2:30, finish strong, and have fun.

The result? 2:19:58 like an absolute BOSS.

๐Ÿ’ฅKAPOW!๐Ÿ’ฅ

Not only did she crush her goal time by more than ten minutes, she set a MASSIVE PR in the process! And in her own words: "I was able to pull away from the group I was running with at mile 12 and it was an amazing experience!"

That moment at mile 12 is what all those early mornings and hard training days are built for. That is the payoff. That is the magic. ๐Ÿงก

And here is the best part. Cindy is just getting started. Next up is the Disney Princess Weekend, where she will tackle a 5k, a 10k, and a half marathon on three consecutive days. ๐Ÿ‘‘ And then? She is setting her sights on the world stage with the famous Cape Town Marathon in South Africa. ๐ŸŒ

From Vancouver to Disney to South Africa. What an incredible running journey this is shaping up to be. We are so proud and so excited to be along for every single mile of it.

Congratulations, Cindy! You showed up, you put in the work, and you delivered in a massive way! ๐ŸŽŠ

๐Ÿฅ‡ MEDAL MONDAY RACE REPORT ๐Ÿฅ‡

Ladies and gentlemen, Resolute Runner A***n Jack is absolutely out of his mind right now and we mean that in the absolute BEST way possible! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

This past weekend A***n toed the line at the In the Heat of the Night 100k in Anniston, AL, deep in the heart of the Talladega National Forest. This is Alabama's first ever 100k trail race and it is as wild as it sounds. Runners grab their headlamps, put on their reflective gear, and run from sunset to sunrise through four loops on forest roads and Pinhoti Trail terrain, covering nearly 7,920 feet of total elevation gain. At night. In August. In Alabama.

Yes, really. ๐Ÿ˜ค๐ŸŒ™

Now here is the part that makes this result even more jaw dropping. This was NOT a goal race for A***n. It was simply a checkpoint. He went to his coach and asked one question, "Can I turn it loose and see what happens?"

The answer was yes. The result?

6th place overall.

๐Ÿ’ฅZAAAPPP!๐Ÿ’ฅ

On a non goal race. With no taper. Just raw, hard earned fitness doing exactly what it is supposed to do when you have been putting in the kind of work A***n has been putting in all year long. That is not luck. That is a foundation being built brick by brick, race by race, mile by mile.

And here is the thing about A***n. He is just getting warmed up. The Rebecca Mountain 50 Miler and the legendary Pinhoti 100 Miler are still on the horizon and everything he is doing right now is pointing straight at those two races like a laser. ๐ŸŽฏ

The grind is the goal. And A***n Jack is grinding at an elite level. We could not be more proud. ๐Ÿงก

Congratulations, A***n! Now get some sleep. You earned it. ๐Ÿ˜ด

๐ŸŒŸ THIS WEEK AT RESOLUTE RUNNING ๐ŸŒŸ

While several of our incredible runners were out there racing this past weekend, Resolute Running Head Coach Alex Morrow was in San Antonio, TX doing something that makes all of the great coaching at Resolute Running possible. He was out there helping create the NEXT generation of great run coaches. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Coach Alex headed to the Alamo City to teach the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Level I Coaching Certification Course, hosted by the outstanding San Antonio RoadRunners. And wow, did those folks roll out the red carpet! Fantastic hosts, incredible hospitality, and a class that Coach Alex absolutely loved from start to finish. We cannot wait to be invited back! ๐Ÿค

Here is why this is such a big deal. The RRCA Coaching Certification Program is designed to inspire and educate aspiring running coaches, offering a strong foundation in coaching principles and ethical practices, and empowering coaches to work confidently with runners of all ages and abilities. The curriculum covers everything from building training plans and exercise physiology to sports nutrition, sports psychology, the history of the sport, and so much more. It is the first step on the journey to becoming a certified run coach.

๐Ÿ’ฅWHAM!๐Ÿ’ฅ

And Coach Alex is not just any instructor. He is one of only seven coaches nationally selected to teach the RRCA program, which has been rated by Sports Illustrated as the number one run coaching program in the country. That is about as elite a coaching credential as it gets. ๐Ÿ†

Every student in that San Antonio classroom walked away better equipped to change someone's running life. That ripple effect is immeasurable and we are so incredibly proud of the role Coach Alex plays in growing this sport from the ground up.

Oh, and apparently some world class Tex-Mex food was consumed along the way. No complaints there. ๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿ˜„

PLUS - Coach Alex had a chance to meet up for dinner with Resolute Runners Daniel Mumford and Cate Miller who live in San Antonio. We love it when worlds collide! ๐Ÿ™Œ

The mission of Resolute Running has always been bigger than just our team and trips like this one are proof of that every single time.

Good luck to all these future run coaches!

๐Ÿ… TERRIFIC TUESDAY RACE REPORT ๐Ÿ…

This one is different. This one is special. This one is going to give you all the feels. ๐Ÿงก

Today we celebrate not one runner, not a handful of runners, but an entire team of brand new rockstars who just crossed their very first 5k finish line together. Say hello to the Build Your Way 2 5k crew! ๐ŸŽ‰

Led by Resolute Running Coaches Sarah Jensen and Marla Gruber, this group of more than a dozen incredible humans spent weeks showing up for each other. Group runs. Injury prevention clinics. Shoe fitting clinics. Accountability check ins. Late night texts of encouragement. What started as a training program quietly became something much bigger. It became a family. ๐Ÿ’™

Their goal? The Retro Run 5k this past weekend. And as race day approached, the emotions were running just as high as the excitement. Nerves? Absolutely. Butterflies? You bet. A few "what have I gotten myself into" moments? Oh, one hundred percent. ๐Ÿ˜‚

But when the clock started, every single one of them went out there and CRUSHED IT.

๐Ÿ’ฅZOWIE!๐Ÿ’ฅ

We are not just proud. We are INSANELY proud. Every early morning. Every evening run. Every hard step. Every moment of doubt pushed through. It all led to that finish line and every single one of them earned it. ๐Ÿ…

None of this would be possible without the incredible support of two amazing community partners. Our friends at The Trak Shak made sure every trainee was in the right shoes from day one. And our friends at TherapySouth Homewood SoHo kept every body healthy, happy, and ready to run. From shoes to therapy, these two businesses had our team covered every step of the way and we are so grateful. ๐Ÿ™Œ

And now for the best part. Several members of this group loved it so much they are joining Resolute Running full time to chase even bigger goals! Once this community gets into your heart, there is no going back. ๐Ÿ˜

Congratulations to every single Build Your Way 2 5k finisher and everyone else who ran the Retro Run 5k. You came. You trained. You conquered. And we cannot wait to see what you do next. The starting line of something incredible is right behind you. ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿƒ

๐Ÿ… TERRIFIC TUESDAY RACE REPORT ๐Ÿ…

Back to the dirt we go! And nobody does dirt quite like Resolute Runner A***n Jack. ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿ”ฅ

This past weekend A***n took on the Hotter 'N Hell 18 Miler at Oak Mountain State Park, hosted by our friends at Southeastern Trail Runs. And if that name does not tell you everything you need to know about this race, let us fill you in. This course is hot. It is hilly. It will grab you by the legs and try its absolute best to break you into pieces. Oak Mountain in the summer is not playing games with anybody. ๐Ÿ˜ค

A***n? Didn't flinch.

He went out there and worked that course like an absolute BOSS from start to finish. 18th place overall. 4 hours and 6 minutes. A 13 minute course PR. ๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿ’ฅPOW!๐Ÿ’ฅ

A THIRTEEN MINUTE course PR on one of the most punishing trail courses around. In the heat. Over 18 brutal miles of Oak Mountain terrain. That is not just a good day. That is a statement.

But here is the part that really puts it all into perspective. A***n does not have the luxury of taking a long recovery because in just a few days he will be toeing the line of the In The Heat of the Night 100k. That is 62 miles, people. Six. Two. ๐Ÿคฏ

Every hard mile at Oak Mountain is just another brick in the foundation of something truly massive being built right now. The grind never stops for A***n Jack and we are here for every single moment of it.

Stay tuned because the next race report from this guy is going to be something special. ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿงก

๐Ÿ… TERRIFIC TUESDAY RACE REPORT ๐Ÿ…

Some race reports are about PRs. Some are about podium finishes. And some are about a moment that changes everything. Today's report is that last one. ๐Ÿงก

Resolute Runner Jack Bonnikson is officially a MARATHONER! ๐ŸŽ‰

This past weekend, Jack headed to the City by the Bay and took on the San Francisco Marathon, one of the most iconic and breathtaking marathon courses in the entire country. Ranked the #2 most beautiful marathon course in the US and #7 globally, San Francisco is a course that will challenge you, humble you, and absolutely take your breath away. Literally and figuratively. Those hills are no joke, especially for a first marathon. ๐ŸŒ

But here is the thing about Jack. He did not just show up and hope for the best. He came in with a plan. He and his coach mapped out a smart race strategy from start to finish, and Jack executed it to absolute perfection. The result? Smiles at every mile and a shiny new marathon medal around his neck. ๐Ÿ…

๐Ÿ’ฅBOOM!๐Ÿ’ฅ

And what made this moment even more special? Jack's parents live on the West Coast and were right there on the course to cheer him on in person. Running your first marathon with your family cheering you to the finish line? That is a memory that will last a lifetime. ๐Ÿ’™

In Jack's own words: "Great experience and I couldn't have done it without your expertise and guidance. It made a massive difference!"

That right there is exactly why we do what we do.

Here is the truth. Not long ago, Jack wanted to run a marathon but had no idea where to start. He reached out to Resolute Running, trusted the process, put in the work, and crossed that finish line in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. That is it. That is the whole formula.

Do YOU have a big goal and no idea how to get there? That is exactly what we are here for. Reach out. Let's build the plan together. Your finish line moment is waiting. ๐Ÿ‘‡

Congratulations, Jack! Welcome to the marathon club. We are so proud of you! ๐ŸŽŠ

๐Ÿ… TERRIFIC TUESDAY RACE REPORT ๐Ÿ…

We are kicking off today's race reports with a story about someone who is relatively new to this sport but is building toward something that will absolutely take your breath away. Meet Resolute Runner Nhu Lee. ๐Ÿ™Œ

A couple of weeks ago, Nhu lined up for the Run Magic City Half Marathon right here in Birmingham. The Run Magic City is a flat, fast course designed for clean pacing and confident ex*****on, starting and finishing at the iconic Railroad Park. That's the good news. The bad news? It's run in Alabama in the middle of July. YIKES! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ But, Nhu took full advantage of every bit of the flat course, crossing the finish line with a brand new half marathon PR! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿ’ฅBAM!๐Ÿ’ฅ

But here is what makes Nhu's story so exciting. This was not the destination. This was just one stop on a journey that is absolutely STACKED with adventure and challenge.

Here is what the road ahead looks like for this guy:

๐ŸŽ„ Rocket City Marathon in December
๐Ÿฐ Disney Marathon in January
๐Ÿ”๏ธ Climbing Kilimanjaro in February
๐ŸŽ–๏ธ Marine Corps Marathon in October 2027

Let that list sink in for a second. Marathons. A mountain. Some of the most iconic experiences a runner and adventurer can have. All lined up back to back.

Big goals require a strong plan and the willingness to do the work every single day to get there. Nhu is doing exactly that, one PR at a time, one training run at a time, one step at a time.

We are so excited to be part of this journey, Nhu. The best is absolutely still ahead of you! ๐Ÿงก
