I've been working on a project for a little while. Something that means a lot to me. Something I believe will mean a lot to virtually everyone with family.

Mary (my better half) would set up a camera and record a conversation with our grand parents. She'd ask questions in a way that felt conversational, not an interview. The videos were PRICELESS. Every family member that saw them wanted a copy.

As my parents age, I've been thinking more about it.

Our family is scattered across the states. Recording conversations has it's challenges. Asking the older generation to record a selfie video isn't easy...

So I created something called The Story Project. I built it around the idea that, getting the an older person to record MUST be simple. Like, click this button and start talking simple. I added to it a prompt to get their mind going. "Tell me about when you were a kid" is a recipie for staring at a blank screen.

I added a bunch of prompts and given the family admin a place to add their own.

There is SOOO much I want to say about this project. I will as time goes on.
