Inversions are some of the most transformative work we do in Classical Pilates. And some exercises you just can’t do alone… yet. 🌿

Getting upside down safely takes trust, spotting, and a teacher who knows exactly where your body needs support. That’s why we don’t just hand you the straps and walk away. In a private session, we build the strength and confidence to get there together.

The payoff? Inversions decompress the spine, shift your relationship with gravity, build serious core control, and quiet the nervous system in a way upright work just can’t.

If you’ve been curious about apparatus work like this, or want personalized attention to get there private sessions are the place to start. Sign up on our website or contact us for more Private time options to have us set you up with the Instructor that works for you.

Pilates is a Method.

Not a workout trend. Not a quick fix. A method.

The definition of a method is simple: a systematic, organized, and repeatable way of doing something — a clear plan of logical steps to reach a specific goal.

A true method requires knowledge, experience, and continuous practice. And real understanding doesn’t come from shortcuts. It comes from learning with experienced mentors, working with real people, and staying curious through the entire journey.

Never stop being a student. 🤍

Pilates should translate into how you move through everyday life, not just how you feel in class and that’s exactly why we love the Chair.

It challenges balance, posture, stability, and deep core strength in a way that’s completely different from the Reformer. With less surface area and more upright work, the Chair asks your body to fully support itself building strength that carries far beyond the studio.

It’s one of the most challenging, most rewarding pieces of equipment we teach on. Simply put: we love a good Chair class.

FORM FRIDAY🎉 Reformer Exercise: Running is an Intro exercise usually done around the end of class. Here at PALA this gives clients an idea that class is almost over. This exercise is great for the nervous system helping the brain by having the legs go in opposition of each other. Running is also a completion exercise to make you calm to go about your day.
