But as I drove home from NC yesterday these kiddos popped up in my messages.

Took my two 🐠 to the neighborhood pool today to play with friends. I think it’s only the 2nd time I’ve been there in 10 years.

Realized very quickly that we are *homepooled* to a fault over here.

✅Yes you need a swimsuit. (All the parts)
✅No you can’t bring all 12 dolls.
✅Yes there will be “other” people.
✅No I can’t turn the heater on.
✅Yes they’ll blow the whistle as soon as you get in. They don’t care that it took you 44 minutes to get used to the water.
Anyone else with a pool at home have the same problem? Or is it just my kids?

When you’re the tiniest but your mom makes sure you’re also the safest! ❤️

Planning vacations with family for winter or next spring? Start thinking about your youngest family members. Who will be mobile by then that isn’t already floating?

The sooner they learn to float, the stronger they’ll be when they may need to use it.

🐠Lessons begin at 6 months old for infants that can sit independently.💪

First Thursday of the busy second Summer Session. It’s always nice to have my regular maintenance friends pop in and remind me (and the new parents!) to trust the process.

The first couple weeks can be hard! From having enough swim diapers, to washing towels, to worrying about your baby crying during lessons.

It gets so much better. Knowing your 4 year old can rest like this while they play with the big kids - peak parenting joy right there.

Hard work pays off. What you practice becomes habit and habits become easy. What’s easy becomes fun.
