Today, Capital Football unveiled two brand new goal posts at Bernlohr Stadium, in memory of Jeff “Bo” Bellinski, Class of 1977. Jeff Bellinski was a member of the Cap Family whose love for the game and his teammates never fades. His legacy now stands tall on this field as an inspiration to all. Generously donated by Debbie & Denny Freudeman and HPlex Solutions Inc., these brand new goal posts elevate the college football atmosphere at Bernlohr Stadium. Two plaques are now on display at the stadium – one field level and one in the stands – allowing everyone involved in the game to remember Jeff Bellinski and his legacy and impact on Capital Football. Members of Capital Football both past and present gathered at Bernlohr Stadium alongside Coach Brian Foos, Denny Freudeman, members of Jeff’s family, and HPlex Solutions Inc. today to unveil the new goal posts and remember Jeff’s lasting impression on the game of football and the Capital program.

The United Soccer Coaches has recognized Capital Men's Soccer as an Academic Team Award recipient for the 2025-26 academic year after a strong season in the classroom! Way to go!

𝓝𝓮𝔀 𝓨𝓮𝓪𝓻, 𝓝𝓮𝔀 𝓡𝓸𝓵𝓮

After four seasons as the program's top assistant, Schyler Fennimore has been elevated to the Interim Head Women's Basketball Coach at Capital University! In her four years as assistant coach, Fennimore has helped the program collect an overall record of 68-37 which includes a 42-28 mark in the OAC!

NEWS: Capital Women's Basketball has announced changes within the program's leadership for the 2026-27 season. Camille McPherson has stepped down as head coach after five seasons and a career record of 71-50. Assistant coach Schyler Fennimore has been named Interim Head Coach for the upcoming year.
