•Stand Up Paddle Board Instru Melanie Smith is a Yoga Alliance 500 E-YRT certified teacher.

Having completed her SUP Yoga teacher training at Paddle Diva with Jessica Bellafatto and Gina Bradley in 2012 and a master SUP Yoga training with Amelia Travis of Stoked Yogi. . Melanie has been teaching SUP Yoga in Eastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey including the Jersey Shore since 2012. Logging over a 1000 hours on the water, Melanie hosts SUP Yoga teacher trainings yearly and now holds a PaddleFit Core Certification including water rescue training. On land, Melanie has studied with beloved teachers such as Seane Corn, Kathryn Budig, Leslie Kaminoff, Jason Crandel, and Tiffany Cruikshank. Using technqiques she has learned from all of these teachers to her classes in sessions of nuanced movement designed to support the body in practice and enhance strength to create a longevity to each individuals practice. Melanie hosts classes on land in the Tri-state area year round, as well as leading mindfulness and trauma informed yoga in schools. From May to September, Stand Up Paddle Board classes on the water. Melanie has taught yoga and SUP internationally, leading global wellness retreats. Hi Paddle Family, we are open on the weekends when tbe weather is nice and we have more events for you!

Today is Saturday 9.20.26 the weather looks good so Beth Howley will be holding down the shop and renting boards.

SUNDAY we are watching the weather and will make a call on being open for rentals and SUP.yoga with Valerie at Oxford Furnace. Keep an eye on socials and on your emails if you're booked for class.

Melanie Smith comes back on Tuesday and we will be back to full business as usual on Thursday 9.24.26

Wednesday night at Spruce Run we were reminded why Spruce is so special and will always have a place in our hearts. We saw 4 bald eagles, 2 adult and 2 juveniles who flew over us several times throughout class. Being tbe end of the season my phone has zero space left on it and so no quality videos or photos were captured of the eagles. I was also too in awe of what was happening to.

Send all of the tissues humanly possible and we aren't being dramatic. Our Monday nigtht sup yoga at Haycock boat launch of Nockamixon is a whole vibe and the cornerstone of our summer schedule for over a decade. We, I, me, Melanie can not believe last night was our last Monday sup yoga until 207. The way the calendar fell this year and the loss of daylight forced our hand on this. We love you all so much who sell out this class for nearly 19 weeks of our season.

Mother nature gave us a grand finale sunset and send off and our vibe was so on point the beaver swam past us us during savansana. To me, that's the universe winking and reminding me that what we offer is something so special and connected to that space.

Kayak and paddleboard rentals are available at Oxford Furnace Lake until 6pm

Paddle Boards are available to rent until 5pm at Ottsville.

Come hang loose with us at either location. The water temps and air temps are in the upper 70's. The sun in shining!
