Baseball America named 2023 Big Train alum Dixon Williams its Hottest Prospect of the Week after an incredible stretch with the Braves’ High-A affiliate in Rome.

“Braves’ High-A Rome center fielder Dixon Williams monster weekend that saw him hit five home runs in two days with back-to-back four-hit games put him on top of the Hot Sheet this week. Williams is not the top prospect to stand out this week, but he was the hottest prospect of the week.”

“TJ consistently sets the standard for excellence, leading by example with dedication, teamwork, and outstanding performance throughout the season. His impact on and off the field made a lasting difference for Big Train Baseball. TJ led the team in batting average .388 and ranks second all-time in on-base percentage, cementing a remarkable legacy for the program.”

“Jack’s dominant starts and relentless work ethic solidified a place among Big Train Baseball’s all-time greats. Throughout the summer, Jack consistently delivered outstanding performances on the mound, setting the tone for the team and demonstrating the excellence, determination, and competitiveness that define a Pitcher of the Year.”

Sal Colangelo’s Manager Award: Utility Player of the year- Zachary Malvaiso

“Zachary was a force at the plate all season, blasting 12 home runs, including several game-winning homers that helped propel Big Train to victory. He recorded three multi-home run games and consistently delivered in key moments. In addition to his offensive power, Zachary was dominant in the field and contributed effectively on the mound, making him one of the team’s most versatile and impactful players.”

Sal Colangelo’s Manager Award: Max Martzolf Relief Pitcher of the Year – Kyzer Smith

“Kyzer was a dominant force out of the bullpen all summer, consistently delivering in high-pressure situations and providing stability at the back end of games. His competitive spirit, reliability, and clutch performances made a tremendous impact on the team’s success and earned recognition as the Big Train College Baseball Relief Pitcher of the Year.”
