Game Day!

The real meat of the season starts tonight as the West Craven Eagles come to town for tonight’s start to the Three Rivers Conference season. Come on out to catch the sights and sounds of those Friday Night Lights as the Panthers look to clip the wings of an eagle. Last year’s game was a thriller down the stretch that left us all with a bad taste in our mouth. The boys look to finish the job tonight, so come support!

Cash or GoFan accepted at the gate, $10 for general entry. NotR and NP students get in for $5 along with all Tarheel Senior pass holders. Here’s the GoFan link:

Panthers Win!

A dominate showing tonight helped the Panther men finish the week off with two Three Rivers Conference wins, in shutout fashion, 18 goals in all. The ball movement against North Johnston tonight, among the whole team, was an absolute clinic on how to play. Goalies Ali Ortiz and Frank Ramirez both held down the nets with great saves. Offensive scorers on the night include: Joseph Reyes (2) and Caleb Jeronimo (2), and Kevin Ramires (HBD!) Willie Peralta, Abraham Martinez, Yahir Hernandez, and Josiah Harris all with one! Nicely done!

The JV team started its conference season off with a well played 1-1 tie.

ER McNair Field will host a big Three Rivers Conference showdown tonight as the North Johnston panthers come to Bethel to face the PANTHERS of North Pitt. Come on through and support the teams here at home in what could be an early conference championship showdown. Game Day!

The cross country and tennis teams both hit the road today in Three Rivers Conference action. Tennis will play North Lenoir today at 4pm. Match to be played at Bill Fay Park. Three Rivers Conference action continues for Cross Country as the teams will run at Washington with a 4:30 start. Do good work!

Panthers Win!

The varsity men’s soccer team wins 9-0, stopping the game early in the second half off a clean sheet from the goalies and defense. Scoring on the night was a David Valdez hat trick, Abe Martinez netted two, and scoring one each was Fabian Elias Medina, Alan Salazar, Saul Mondragon, and Kevin Ramirez.

If you notice, a couple of those names are defenders who got to go play up after so many shutout goals. Live it up boys!

Game Day!

Apologies! Missed making sure this went up today! But it is a North Pitt Game Day and an exciting one at that!

About an hour ago, our first ever women’s golf team tee’d off for the first time ever with that first match being at Maccripine Country Club in Pinetops. Very proud of the five young ladies making their way around the course and Coach Endsley who is doing great work with that team. Finish it strong!

Here at home, it’s going to be busy. The women’s tennis team is hosting Hobgood today at 4pm. In the Panther Den, the volleyball teams will be in action against Eastern Wayne, first touch at 4:30. Finally, on ER McNair the men’s varsity soccer team will take on West Craven. That’ll be at 6:30. Cash and GoFan accepted, here’s the links:

This week in North Pitt Athletics:

Women’s Golf, finally, gets its first ever team action as they head to Washington Yacht and Country Club on Tuesday. Exciting times! Do good work!

Soccer and Football both enter Three Rivers Conference action with home games. A huge one for the soccer boys on Thursday as North Johnston comes to Bethel. We’ll need you all there for that one, an early season showdown that could have conferences championship ramifications. Same on Friday night for the football guys as West Craven comes in. The guys are itching for that one.

Cross Country, Tennis, and Volleyball continue on through the meat of their seasons. Check them out as soon as you get the chance!

Also coming out this week is some Homecoming 2026 announcements so stay tuned!

Panthers Did Good Work!

The Panther Cross Country teams ran in the Big Blue Rendezvous today at the Lenoir County Fairgrounds and did very well. Junior Harrington finished in the top 10 of a huge roster of runners while the remaining Panthers all did well. The women’s team had great times on the day, especially with running through the surprising heat. Good work and determination to our Orange and Blue milers!
