White Mountain Ridge Runners, Inc.

White Mountain Ridge Runners, Inc. Snowmobile Club in Southern Coos County. "Live Free and Snowmobile NH" One of the highlights is Mt. Washington.

The WMRR trail system has been upgraded over the past 5 years to become one of the top trail systems in Coos County. The club has modified a majority of its trails for low snow conditions by removing rocks and placing bridges over all water crossings. The WMRR traill system also features trail signs mounted on 4" x 4" posts to insure screws or nails are not left in trees, causing problems for loggers later on. Every junction features informative carved wooden signs and trail maps are mounted throughout the trail system. In addition to a first class trail system, the local topography features some of the best views in Coos County. Forist which overlooks the City of Berlin, the Town of Gorham and Mt. Another is the club's Scenic View Trail climbs to an elevation of 2,500 feet and overlooks Jericho Mountain and several mountain ranges to the north and east along the NH/Maine border. At the top of the Scenic View Trail is the Jericho Warming Hut, built and maintained by the club to serve as a year around destination for snowmobiler riders.

The work never stops even during the summer months. This bridge project was funded by the State of NH Grant In Aid funds which your registrations provided money to keep our bridges and trails in good shape. This is the bridge behind the Notre Dame Arena in Berlin NH on Primary Trail 108 that connects to Berlin for food, fuel and also connects to Corridor 12 . Brush Hogging done by Eric Demers. Our club gives a huge Thank you to the Milan Trail Huggers ATV club for providing the volunteers to get this major project done. Without volunteers trails would not happen. Great job done!!! 👏

Roll Over ATV Crash Results in Fatality

Colebrook – On July 4, 2026, at approximately 10:22 a.m., New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officers were notified of an ATV rollover crash with serious injuries on Corridor 5 in the town of Colebrook. An emergency response was initiated by 45th Parallel EMS, the Colebrook Fire Department, and Conservation Officers.

Riders on scene started CPR prior to the arrival of EMS personnel. Unfortunately lifesaving attempts by members of his riding group and EMS were unsuccessful and the operator died at the scene. The operator, identified as Keith Loureiro, 53, of Gilford, NH, had been operating on a single ATV in a group of family members when the crash occurred. Loureiro’s body was transported to the State Medical Examiner’s office in Concord.

This incident is still under investigation, and a cause of the crash has not been determined. However, a separate group of ATV riders who left the scene were being sought for questioning.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that may assist investigators is encouraged to contact New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officer Benjamin Harmon by calling 603-271-3361 or by email at [email protected].

Berlin Trail PT 108 is now closed. We are watching the weather closely and if it don't change we will be forced to close all trails for the season. Most surrounding clubs have closed their trails already. With very minimal places to access fuel, etc. Please plan accordingly and watch out for open water bars and ice!!

Time to stick a fork in it! Our trails are all closed at this time. Supposed to be warm all week until the weekend and we have lost a lot of snow. Thanks for riding our trails this season. Just because we are done grooming the work behind the scenes does not stop we are already working on trail improvements for next season. Would also like to thank our landowners without them we would not have any trails. Stay tuned!!

Since I have been told to not be ignorant and bash people for warming hut issues. I am going to ask...
****Please do not add wood to the stove when it is 120 degrees in the hut and possibly burn the warming hut to the ground.
****Please do not cook inside hut.
****Please treat the warming hut as if it was your money that built it.
****Please do not bring motorized vehicles inside the building.
****Please do not slam things on tile to possibly break tiles.
The warming hut is a place for all to enjoy and is a privilege to use which could end one day.

Over the next few weeks we have school vacations with many riders out there. Please use extra caution while riding and stay on your side of the trail. There has been way too many accidents already this year and close calls with groomers. Watch out for wildlife also as they are using the trails as much as possible because of deep snow conditions!! Please remember groomers can be out day or night!!! Ride to the right Ride safe!!

We have received atleast 14 inches of fresh fluffy powder snow and it's still coming down. The guys will be out packing in the snow starting tomorrow. We should have great riding once it's all packed in.

My view from my office today! The guys have been out hitting the trails and we have one heck of a base. A few thin spots here and there but trails are good for the snow we had. We will keep our fingers crossed we get a good amount of snow with the storm that's coming Sunday - Monday.
