Every new opportunity is a chance to grow, learn, and become stronger. Don’t be afraid to take the first step—your next chapter could be your best one yet. ✨🌱

I know—I had my tennis shoes on. 😂 It was just a quick walk around so we could get a feel for each other, and I didn’t feel like taking my spurs off my boots just to switch shoes. Sometimes you just go with what works!

🐴 English lessons on Gunner today at Stormy Acres! 🐴

There’s nothing better than helping riders build confidence, balance, and communication with their horse. Gunner did a great job helping students work on the fundamentals while having fun in the saddle. Every lesson is another step toward becoming a stronger, more independent rider. Horseback riding is a great way to improve balance, coordination, posture, and core strength while building confidence along the way.

So proud of all my students and thankful for another day teaching at Stormy Acres! ❤️🐎

✨ Obsessed with this detangler! ✨

It makes grooming so much easier, helps prevent breakage, and leaves manes and tails looking silky smooth.
Only $8, and it works just as well or better than some of the $25 horse detanglers I’ve used. Soft, shiny, tangle-free manes and tails without breaking the bank. 🐴✨

Shout out to my client for sharing this with me! 👏🏼

Instead of cutting a traditional bridle path, I chose to add a small braid right behind the ears. It gives a clean, tidy look without removing any mane and is a great option for horses with thinner manes or owners who prefer to keep their horse’s mane natural.
Sometimes the little details make all the difference. I love finding ways to keep horses looking neat while preserving as much of their natural beauty as possible!

Building muscle doesn’t always mean going faster—it can mean slowing down and working smarter.
Today we worked on walking up hills, which is a great way to strengthen a horse’s hindquarters, back, and core muscles. Walking uphill encourages horses to engage from behind, carry themselves better, and improve overall balance.
Taking the saddle off and riding ba****ck adds another challenge. Ba****ck riding helps riders improve their balance, seat, and core strength while allowing them to feel every movement of the horse.
Strong horses and strong riders start with the basics. Sometimes a simple walk up a hill can be one of the best workouts out there! 🐴💪
