𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 / 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐫 / 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 (3 – 5 Years Experience)

At Progressive Trail Design (PTD), we specialize in designing and building sustainable, world-class trail systems, parks, and outdoor recreation spaces. Our team of designers, planners, and
builders is passionate about connecting people to nature through creative, community-driven
design.

We’re seeking a Landscape Architect, Trail Planner, or Landscape Designer with 3–5 years of experience who thrives in collaborative, hands-on environments. This role is ideal for someone
who enjoys translating ideas into tangible designs and is inspired by the outdoors and active recreation.

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰
The Landscape Planner/ Landscape Designer will support a variety of design and planning projects: from concept development to construction documentation. You’ll work closely with
senior designers and project managers to help deliver innovative outdoor recreation environments across the country.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
▪️Assist in the design and documentation of trail systems, parks, and outdoor recreation projects.
▪️Support preparation of Construction Drawings, including layout, grading, and detailing utilizing AutoCAD.
▪️Prepare illustrative plans, sections, renderings, and visual presentations using Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp/Lumion or other graphic programs.
▪️Contribute to 3D modeling, hand graphics, and concept development.
▪️Conduct site research, analysis, and inventory to support design decisions.
▪️Collaborate with the PTD team through all phases of design and construction.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
▪️Degree in Landscape Architecture (or other related field preferred), not mandatory.
▪️3–5 years of professional experience in a landscape architecture, trail or park planning, or design office.
▪️Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Lumion.
▪️Excellent design sense and attention to detail.
▪️Capable of producing both digital and/or hand-rendered graphics.
▪️Knowledge of construction documentation and grading principles.
▪️We strongly prefer candidates who are active mountain bikers.
▪️Interest in trails, mountain biking, parks, and outdoor recreation design.
▪️Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
▪️Willingness to relocate to or reside in Arkansas.
