Healing vibes to ! ❤️🩹
Posted • No Unbound for me this year. Yesterday I was hit by a truck during my ride. The driver pulled out into the road as I was passing and hit me on my right side. The result is a fractured tibia. There may be ligament damage too, but I’ll know more after I get an MRI. Recovery time is a bit up in the air right now, but a 200-mile race 2 weeks from now is definitely not happening. I won’t even be off crutches by then.
Unbound is undoubtedly the biggest priority of my season and I go all in for it. The preparation leading up is unlike any race of the year. I was very pleased with how my Unbound block went over the past month, and it’s a major bummer not to use that fitness that I gained. I know it won’t be time wasted, though. Hopefully, it’ll act as a base for the late season. Unbound is more than just another race for me, but there will always be another one, and nothing is guaranteed there. Bad luck could have easily plagued me on race day, and I’d be just as disappointed.
Maybe I’ll even have a better late season because of this, at least that’s what I’m telling myself. Trying my best to see the glass half full right now.

The team showed up at in great form, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough against a stacked field.
: “I came into this race in the best shape of my life, had a clean race, and set a personal power record at 317w NP for 4.5 hours. That was only good enough for 38th place.”
: “My form is great, but at this level it’s far from the whole picture. I forgot how good I am at racing and didn’t trust myself, which led to a big error right before the start that I then spent the entire day trying to fix—something that might have been possible (just maybe) with a more specific preparation.”
Solid riding from the boys nonetheless, and a positive start to the season. Onwards and upwards.

and were back together again for the first race of the : the Gravel Race. Both riders chose to race with the Aero Gravel Suit, with integrated bladder pouch. The long sleeve thermal jersey (shown) kept them warm pre-race.
We’re stoked to have Rule 28 supporting us again this year, providing Dylan and Adam with all the aero gains.
