Tryout season isn’t just for players—it’s for parents too.

Every parent wants to find the best opportunity for their child, but remember this: you’re not just choosing a team, you’re choosing an environment, a coaching staff, and a group of families you’ll spend countless hours with.

Team culture isn’t built by talent alone. Parents play a huge role in creating a positive, supportive, and healthy atmosphere. They can strengthen a team—or unintentionally create challenges that affect everyone.

Don’t feel like you have to commit to the first team you see. Attend multiple tryouts. Ask questions. Watch how coaches interact with players. Observe how parents behave in the stands and around the field. Make sure the organization’s values align with your own.

The right fit isn’t always the team with the most wins or the biggest name. It’s the place where your player will be challenged, supported, developed, and enjoy the journey.

Remember, tryouts are evaluating players—but parents should be evaluating teams just as much.

Choose wisely. The right fit benefits everyone.

We are hosting tryouts for the fall season 10U and 11 U teams. Our dedicated coaches focus on the fundamentals and growing athletes.
