Welcome Zayne Kuewa to COCC Rugby.

Zayne comes to Bend from Sammamish, Washington, where he played rugby with Eastside Lions and was part of their 2025 state championship team.

A multi-sport athlete at Skyline High School, Zayne was a First Team All-League defensive lineman and team captain in football, as well as a four-year letterman, team captain, and state qualifier at 285 lbs in wrestling. He brings serious physicality, work rate, and competitiveness to the Bobcats.

Welcome Atticus Donaghy to COCC Rugby.

Atticus comes to Bend from Damariscotta, Maine, where he played two years of high school sevens rugby with the Lincoln County RFC. He played fly half, with experience at scrum half as well, and brings athleticism and a high rugby IQ to the Bobcats. He was also a multi-sport athlete in high school, running track and playing baseball.

Nako comes to Bend from Federal Way, Washington, where he played four years of high school rugby with Rainier. At center, he brings a humble, coachable mindset, serious skill, and real potential.

Welcome Laban Fuiava to COCC Rugby.

Laban comes to Bend from Federal Way, Washington, where he played his high school rugby with Rainier. He'll anchor the forward pack at prop and lock, with physicality, footwork, hands, and vision.

Welcome David Enright to COCC Rugby.

David comes to Bend from Battle Ground, Washington, after three years of high school rugby with Clark County, plus summer experience with the RedHawks and Loggerheads select sides. Expect him at center and fullback for the Bobcats, bringing grit, athleticism, and versatility across the backline.

Welcome Omari Spalding to COCC Rugby.

Omari is fresh off a state championship with the Bend Blues, after a high school career that also included basketball, football, and track. We love keeping homegrown talent right here in Bend — and we're even more excited to help him grow as a rugby player.

Huge thanks to the Oregon Lightning for letting us take the field at halftime and show the crowd a little touch rugby. Great chance to get COCC Rugby in front of the community, teach a few people what rugby looks like, and get the boys together for one last runaround before summer break.
