Meet Lizzy Dalton 👋
Lizzy is a Portland-based artist, tattooer, and longtime climber whose work is shaped by years spent in the mountains and wild places she loves most.
She’s been climbing for 15+ years, started creating landscapes around 2014, and eventually turned a longtime dream into reality when she began tattooing in 2021.
Also very important: she was once in a movie with Cher when she was six. She’s never actually seen it though. 😂 Ummm Lizzy, are we allowed to know what movie it was?
This week, you can find Lizzy’s Red Rock, Torres del Paine, and Tunnel View artwork on our Artist of the Week feature. Only around til Monday!

Meet this week’s artist, Nika Meyers 🎨🏔️
Nika is a watercolor, mixed media + plein air artist based in Aspen, Colorado… and she has casually hiked 12,000+ miles across the U.S.
Ummm, ok that’s kind of a lot of hiking 🤯
A lot of those miles have found their way into her art, which is inspired by wild places, movement, and the connections between them.
She paints outside, works with watercolor, ink + thread, coaches Nordic skiing, and still holds the Female Fastest Known Self-Supported Time on the 500-mile Colorado Trail.
Fun fact (although we can’t confirm it), some of us FRE Yahoos used to be nordic coaches and when we first met Nika, we realized we had probably been waxing skis at a lot of the same races together so that’s fun!
Anyway, her collection’s hanging around through Monday!

This week’s artist grew up in a barn. An actual barn. 🌲
Meet Randi Ford, a northern Michigan landscape painter inspired by the forests, rivers, dunes, and shorelines of the Great Lakes.
Randi paints nature the way it feels—not perfectly still, but moving. Trees bending, water flowing, light shifting through the landscape. Her paintings have this wonderful way of feeling alive and peaceful all at once.
A few things we learned while getting to know her: she loves learning about plants, has two Siberian Forest Cats and a 10-month-old daughter, and would happily live on her husband’s tacos forever.
Oh, and the Governor of Michigan owns one of her original paintings. No big deal. 😉
Swipe through to see Randi’s collection 🌲 Around until Monday!

Meet Emily Poole 👋
Emily grew up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and now calls Eugene, Oregon home, where she paints the plants, animals, and other wild things of the Pacific Northwest.
Her work is playful, colorful, and incredibly detailed — which makes this next part pretty wild: Emily has aphantasia, meaning she doesn’t really see pictures in her head.
Instead, a lot of her work comes from looking closely at what’s actually in front of her. And that’s really what Emily hopes her art gets us to do, too — notice the wild things around us a little more.

Meet this week's Artist of the Week: Steph Moon 🏔️🎨
Steph is a landscape artist based in Colorado Springs who creates colorful paintings inspired by the mountains and the places she explores. One of our favorite things about her work? Every piece is built from hundreds of tiny lines and dots that come together to tell the story of the landscape.
A couple fun facts:
-She's hiked the Manitou Incline (2,768 steps 😮) about once a week for the past decade.
-If her backpack could only hold three things forever: a PB&J, lip balm, and sunglasses.
So... which one's calling your name? Only available for a week!

Meet Ula Basińska. 🌿
Originally from Poland and now living in the Andes of Patagonia, Ula paints watercolors inspired by the forests, mountains, and wild places she calls home.
One of our favorite things she shared? If she could live anywhere in the world, she'd stay exactly where she is.
Heck, if we lived in the Andes, we’d probably do the same, duh 🤍

This week's Artist of the Week is Laura Watkins 🥾
Laura is an artist and avid hiker who captures her jaunts through the mountains and woods with whatever instrument of color is closest - acrylics, oil, colored pencils, etc. Every painting starts with an adventure, whether that's catching sunrise at the Maroon Bells, wandering through the Pacific Northwest, or meeting the cutest little pika along the trail.
In order to get to know her a little better, we asked her some very important questions.
FRE Yahoos: When was the last time you laughed until you cried?
Laura: Any time there’s “Type II fun” on just about any long, difficult mountain trail. Aka terrible in the moment, but great memories after the fact - there will always be a mixture of laughter and tears just to make it through.
FRE Yahoos: Amen, been there sister 🤣😭 If you were a spice, which one would you be?
Laura: I would be cinnamon because it is just common enough for everyday taste, but adds a little something special no matter the season. Paired with coffee is the way to go.
We’ll drink to that ☕
Swipe through and let us know which one's coming home with you. 💚
Only available for a week!

This week we're diving to Sara's art! Sara Slocum is a former Game Artist who traded the screen for paintbrushes (yeppp! she's THAT girl). After 20 years in the gaming industry, she took the leap to follow her dream of becoming a children's book illustrator and creating art that brings a little more joy into the world.
We're so excited to have Sara's artwork join us, and we think her colorful, joy-filled style feels right at home on our gear. :) Only available for a week!

This week we're hanging out with Laura Nitzsche all the way from Northern Patagonia.
Laura spends a whole bunch of time outside, snowboarding, biking, hiking, making art, and it definitely shows. If there's a mountain involved, she's probably having a pretty good day!!
Her Artist of the Week artwork is live now! Go have a peek. ❤️

We've got another awesome human to introduce you to!
Meet Julianne, a Bend-based artist who paints colorful PNW landscapes, dreamy wildflowers, and (our favorite fun fact) live weddings. Yep... she literally paints a scene from the wedding while it’s going down 🤯
She's also a paddle boarder, hiker, volleyball addict, motorcycle rider, and unapologetic thrift store enthusiast. In fact, she once laughed so hard she cried after spotting herself on the local news at a Goodwill grand opening. 😂
Her Artist of the Week collection is live! Go give Julianne a warm welcome and let us know which print you're snagging. 💛
