The MBSEF Grom Camp’s inaugural summer was a success! Designed to offer families more than just standard daycare, the camp featured three-hour morning bike rides. Groups rode from the office to Phil’s or took MBSEF vans to new trails. Led by a seasoned bike coach and an assistant, groups focused on either endurance and pacing or fundamental skills, meeting each child's specific needs.
Afternoons at the office offered various activities. Outdoors, kids played bike games like Magic Carpet (braking skills) and Foot Down (balance) on coach-built features, including progressive skinnies tapering from 18 to 4 inches, and a teeter-totter. Indoors, they utilized the MBSEF gym's slackline and other features to build “Floor is Lava” balance games and of course, jumped on the trampoline!
A huge shoutout to our incredible coaches—Tiago, Bruce, Karen, Kieffer, Elle, Jullian, Ben, and Campbell. Our amazing coaches are what make MBSEF’s programs so special.

The DH/Enduro team has had a great first few weeks of the summer session up at Mt. Bachelor. The team had many athletes compete in the first two Gravity Series Races of the season with great results (see below). The first race was on Hanger and the second race was on Middle Lava Flow. Athletes are using these races to prepare for the NW Cup coming to Mt. Bachelor August 7-9. The team is stoked for next week’s race on Cone Run - Lower Rattlesnake - Blade Runner.
