For those asking about the course, here are my thoughts. The non-technical dirt road covering the entire course is about 10 secs/mile slower than paved road, then the 10-mile gentle downhill gains around about 20 secs/mile compared to earlier. Overall it’s similar to a flat road race, but with better views through the mountains.
