People are portals ✨

People pull you into other worlds, other energies, other versions of yourself. Make sure the people you surround yourself with are pulling you into the directions you want to go. Protect and be picky with your energy and connections.

It’s okay to let relationships that no longer serve the highest version of yourself go. Not out of hate, not with bad intentions but simply because they don’t align with the highest version of yourself. Wish them well and make space for what inspires and rises with you.

When I first moved to Oregon, Heather taught 5th grade in the classroom next to me. She was my first real connection and took me under her wing. Last year she asked if I’d show her the ropes of car camping and if that isn’t the most me job, idk what is!! So this is our annual adventure.

She let me plan this whole hike and asked no questions. We had no expectations of making it up to the lake, it was hard! But we CRUSHED it and got treated with incredible animal encounters and views.

Finding humans you travel well with is so important. Eating healthy, filling our days with adventure, having time to solo adventure and not get offended. We’re just on the same page.
