Carp fishing has been at its peak. Between the hexagenia and “berry” hatches, carp in the SE are hanging under low branches and super aggressive. Not usually our biggest carp but lots of 5-7 lb fish. Great for newbies and trout anglers looking to advance their skill sets. The video is nothing fancy but there are a ton of takeaways in the clip. Take note of clarity, the berry plop presentation, the misses and the visual cues of a solid take, getting the carp on the reel and to the net. High protein low carb pizza. Delicious and super easy 3 ingredient recipe.
1 cup 4% Good cottage cheese
2 large eggs
1/2 cup almond flour
Mix until a dough consistency forms then spread onto parchment lined pan. Bake 450 for 20 min or until edges brown
Remove and brush with olive oil and add favorite pizza toppings. I added tons of fresh herbs from garden harvests.
Bake another 10 and enjoy 🍕 🔥 ☔

I don’t catch a lot of mirror carp on trips, only a handful the last 20 years or so. Wanted to share one of my favs a regular client caught a while back. This fish has been caught twice and on the black bu**er both times.
