I have some really exciting news to share! 👀

ISR Belmont is thrilled to announce a continuing partnership with Gaston Aquatics! Starting in January, I'll be bringing ISR lessons to the new Gaston Regional Aquatic Center!

This opportunity feels extra special because Gaston Aquatics has spent years working toward the vision of bringing a true aquatic center to Gaston County. Their mission has always been about more than swimming. It's about creating opportunities, improving safety, and serving families in our community.

As someone who believes deeply in the power of these skills, I'm so excited to partner with an organization that shares the same commitment to water safety, education, and serving families. The work Gaston Aquatics is doing aligns so closely with why I do what I do every day.

Knowing that ISR lessons will soon be offered in a brand-new facility built with aquatic education, safety, and community in mind is incredibly meaningful. Water safety is always a team effort, and I'm so grateful to be part of what Gaston Aquatics is building for our community.

And let's be honest...the warm water may have sealed the deal for me! 😂🤷‍♀️

I'm so excited for what this means for families across Gaston County and beyond! Every child who learns these skills is one more layer of protection, one more confident child, and one more family better prepared around the water.

I truly can't wait to welcome your little ones when the doors open and continue doing the work that means so much to me.

Better together! 👯

Last weekend I had the opportunity to join an incredible group of ISR instructors from all across our area for a growth and development workshop!

There is nothing quite like coming together to review student videos, exchange ideas, and share best practices. The absolute highlight though was watching live lessons with our local Master Instructors. Let me tell you...it was wonderfully reassuring to see that even *their* students cry, they make mistakes, and yes, even they rotate kids the wrong way sometimes! (Hi, Jessica Harrington! 👋😝) Turns out, nobody is perfect, and it's all totally okay.

I am so grateful to be part of such a supportive, real, and dedicated community of instructors. When we collaborate, laugh at our missteps, and continuously learn together, our students and families win, every single time.

Huge thanks to everyone who put this together and to all the instructors who joined! I left inspired and ready to make some big plans for 2027! ✨

Hey! I'm Stacey! 👋

If you're new around here, I figured it was time I said HII!

I'm married to Kevin, and together we're somehow keeping five amazing kids alive! 😄 Our calendar is basically one giant game of, "who has to be where!?" Between baseball, soccer, school, and all the things that come with raising a big family, life is full... and I wouldn't change a thing.

I'm happiest in the sunshine, preferably near the water with a coffee or diet coke in my hand. I love people, building relationships, and I believe it truly takes a village to raise kids.

So... why ISR? Because before I was an instructor, I was a mom.
I know the weight of keeping kids safe. I know how quickly life can change. And I know there are some things worth investing in. For me, that's water safety.

Yes, I teach babies to float and toddlers to swim. But what I'm really teaching is confidence. Independence. Muscle memory. Life-saving skills.

Every child is different. Some need extra encouragement. Some need patience. Some need tough love. Most just need to be reminded they're not in charge. 🤓

When you bring your child to my pool, they become one of my kids. We celebrate every milestone, work through the hard days, and cheer when it finally clicks. I worry about them. I pray for them. And I care about them *long* after their last lesson.

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to watch my "swim kids" grow up. Running into them around town, getting hugs years later, or hearing "Miss Stacey!" across a parking lot never gets old. Those moments are literally the best!

Many of you have trusted me with every one of your babies. You've shared my name with friends, family, & neighbors before they even had children of their own. That kind of trust will never be lost on me and I'll spend the rest of my time trying to earn it.

This work has never felt like a job. It's relationships. It's purpose. It's getting to spend ten minutes a day with someone's whole world.

Thank you for cheering on my little business, trusting me with your greatest treasures, and allowing me to do work I truly love.

I'm so glad you're here. I hope I get the chance to meet your family someday. 💚💙

Today we honor a sweet boy and hold his family close.

Drowning is fast and silent.
ISR isn’t about early swimming; it’s about survival.

It’s one layer of protection: the skills to roll, float, and find air... alongside supervision, barriers, and awareness.

Holding this family close and continuing the work in his honor. Not out of fear, but out of love. 💙💚
