We needed about at least 24 hours 💙 to realize and let it sink in that we will not be playing another game.

Going into the 8th inning felt like a repeat of the other. Day. Each team played and gave everything they had. It was like fighting for your life with every breath, every catch, and every at-bat.

These are the moments that teach you how to stay in control, how to stay calm, and how to be strategic. These things are not learned overnight, but these boys had to put it all out on the field and learn through their mistakes. And that’s exactly what they did. They learned.

They say you grow the most when you face failure. If there’s no failure, there’s no growth. Yesterday was the day that we grew a little stronger, cried a little harder, and yelled a little louder.

Our hearts sank. We wanted to give more because we knew we had so much more to give. We wanted to give our families and community great plays that they could go home and talk about for years to come. We wanted to make our coaches proud and show them that they taught us well. We wanted our parents to witness something that may have seemed impossible become possible.

We had so much more to give.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the result we wanted, but we fought hard and learned hard lessons that will stay with us far beyond the game.

HISTORY IN THE MAKING⭐️🔥

Some games are forgotten by the next morning.

This wasn’t one of them.

What unfolded between Bellevue National Majors and Sammamish Majors was nothing short of unforgettable—a game that reminded everyone why we love baseball.

For nine incredible innings, these two teams traded punches, answered every challenge, and refused to surrender. Every pitch carried the weight of the moment. Every hit ignited hope. Every catch drew thunderous cheers from the crowd.

Neither team blinked.

As the innings stretched on, the tension became almost unbearable. The 6th inning came and went. Then the 7th. The 8th. And finally… the 9th.

The crowd was on its feet.

Every parent held their breath. Every coach watched in silence. Every player knew one mistake could change everything.

Bottom of the 9th.

The scoreboard read 10–10.

Bellevue National battled its way aboard until the bases were loaded. The pressure couldn’t have been any greater. One pitcher. One batter. One at-bat that would either send this game into extra innings or write its final chapter.

Strike one… looking.

Strike two… looking.

The tension grew even louder.

Ball one.

Ball two.

Ball three.

You could feel the entire park holding its breath.

Then…

Ball four.

Walk-off.

Game over. 💥⚾

Bellevue National erupted onto the field in celebration as emotions poured out from every corner of the ballpark. Tears of joy. Tears of heartbreak. Hugs, cheers, and memories that will last a lifetime.

This wasn’t just a baseball game.

It was a reminder that the scoreboard never tells the whole story. Heart. Resilience. Belief. Those are the moments that define a team.

To Sammamish Majors—thank you for an incredible battle. You competed with class, grit, and determination from the first pitch to the very last. You made Bellevue National earn every single run, every single out, and every single moment.

This game will be talked about for years to come, and everyone fortunate enough to witness it can proudly say…
