It is with very heavy hearts that we share the loss of a longtime member of the Wexford on the Green family.
Henry, our resident swan for the past 20 years, was sadly lost last night to a coyote.
Anyone who knew Henry knew he had quite the personality. He could be a grumpy old gus, a little territorial, and completely unapologetic about it — but he was also deeply loved and truly became part of what made Wexford feel like home.
For two decades, residents and staff watched him on the property, shared stories about him, laughed at his antics, and simply got used to seeing him as part of the landscape. His absence will be deeply felt.
We know many of you have photos and memories of Henry over the years, and we would love for you to share them in the comments so we can celebrate his long life here at Wexford.
Rest easy, Henry. You were one of a kind, and you will be missed. 🤍🦢
